That is an excellent catch. He had a good old chuckle too.

Shaheen Afridi should have come back on against Australia so Babar Azam has learnt from his mistake.
Gurbaz c Usama b Shaheen 65 (Afg 130-1)
The reaction from Pakistan says it all. They needed that.
A fantastic partnership is broken by their strike bowler, Shaheen Afridi.
Usama Mir holds on to a smart tumbling catch at third man, well judged in the end as the ball was spiralling high in the air, to end a wonderful innings from Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
Could that spark Pakistan into life?

When things are going well for Pakistan they really use and go with the momentum, but when things aren't going well they can slide quickly.
Target 283
Better from Shadab Khan. Just two singles from the over and Pakistan are desperate for more of those.
Afghanistan's chances are growing over by over.
Target 283
The camera finds Pakistan's director, Mickey Arthur, in the dugout.
He is absolutely fuming.

I am really enjoying the way Afghanistan are going about this. They have been aggressive but calculated.

That is six, but it should probably be nine. It was a booming drive.
Hello!
Gurbaz absolutely launches Iftikhar Ahmed straight down the ground for an almighty six.
Goodness, they are making this chase look easy.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz batted beautifully to set up Afghanistan's victory over England earlier in the tournament, and has continued that form today.

Pakistan just have to be better in the field. There has to be more intent and certainly better skill. There are different types of saves, it is not only about diving.
Target 283
Shadab Khan can't find any rhythm here.
The occasional good balls that he bowls are followed by short or wide ones. Ibrahim Zadran defends solidly before releasing the pressure with a four slapped through the covers past a tumbling Hassan Ali.

This is the second time this pair have put on a century stand in this World Cup, they are the first to do that. They have put 333 on in this World Cup, which is the most of any opening partnership.

I was expecting the ball to grip and spin a little bit more but it just hasn't happened.
Target 283
Iftikhar Ahmed is introduced with the ball for the first time, after his explosives with the bat earlier.
He gives Babar Azam exactly what he needs and that is control. Just two singles from the over.
A very impressive knock from Ibrahim Zadran so far.

Usama Mir's role has to be as a wicket-taker but he's struggling to be consistent. His body language isn't great either. You felt sorry for him when he dropped David Warner early on against Australia but against Afghanistan you've got to be more switched on.
Target 283
A boundary-less over from Usama Mir but some good running still allows the batters to take six from it.

At some point the real Pakistan will show up, but they’ll probably wait until they face England to do it….
