Target 157
Better end to the over from Chris Woakes. Four dot balls on the trot.
Not that Sri Lanka have to rush with such pitiful total to chase.

Target 157
Sri Lanka are up and running.
After a dot ball to start, Chris Woakes sends the next down leg for a wide and is then driven back through mid-on by Pathum Nissanka.
Lovely shot. Four.
Thanks, Mike.
Pathum Nissanka is readying himself to face the first ball of the innings, the recalled Chris Woakes will bowl it.
Just the 157 needed for victory for Sri Lanka. England will need 10 wickets, there's no chance this innings goes the distance, surely?
Right, the players are out on the field. How long will this chase take?
Here's Sam Drury to find out.
Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali then put on 47 for the sixth wicket, a partnership that swung back and forth from tentative to aggressive.
But then the dam broke again as England lost their final five wickets for 34 runs over the course of nine overs.
Then came the first flurry of wickets as England went from 45-0 to 85-5 in the space of ten overs.
Take your pick of bad shots - but the worst of these is likely the run out of Joe Root, sent back by Jonny Bairstow attempting a single that was never on.
Who wants to relive all that then? Oh go on, it's a sort of early advent calendar of pain. Behind every door there's more misery!
And remember - it could have been worse. England reached 44-0 after six overs, but they should have lost Jonny Bairstow first ball.

Looks like rock bottom has a basement

Are we witnessing the death throes of this generation of England white ball players?
This is the first time England have fielded an ODI team with everyone the wrong side of 30.
The ages: Jonny Bairstow (34), Dawid Malan (36), Joe Root (32), Ben Stokes (32), Jos Buttler (33), Liam Livingstone (30), Moeen Ali (36), Chris Woakes (34), David Willey (33), Adil Rashid (35), Mark Wood (33).
All change for December's tour of the West Indies? How many post-tournament retirements might we see?
Sri Lanka's Angelo Mathews: "The boys set the tone. All the bowlers were absolutely brilliant today. The wicket was on the slower side but we landed it on the perfect spot.
"The fielders backed up the bowlers, it was a brilliant performance.
"I've challenge myself over the last month or so, I started bowling again so I could contribute as much as possible so I'm glad I bowled well today.
"It's raining cats and dogs in Sri Lanka so I've not been able to play much, it's mainly been indoor training.
"England are a very balanced, very strong team and we had to turn up and with our a game to force them back but it's not done yet.
"We have to bat positively, play it as it comes and not get too excited."

Wouldn’t mind if we were getting out to good balls but it’s just rank bad cricket from our 11.

That's the curse of this format, Brian.
England are heading out of this tournament and they've still got to troop through three more games.

Let’s not get too down. It could be worse, we could still have India, Australia and Pakistan to play…

This does not feel like it is going to be challenging in these conditions. Well played, Sri Lanka.

Swipe and he's out. That's it. Theekshana takes the final wicket, stumped.
Wood was miles out of his ground. England's last stand at this World Cup, is lying there in ruins.
Wood st Mendis b Theekshana 5 (Eng 156 all out)
And that's that.
No big score for Mark Wood today, he tries a big heave down the ground off Theekshana, misses entirely and it's an easy stumping for Kusal Mendis.
A shambolic display from England.

Wood scythes that for four - he's off!
Mark Wood scored 43 not out in England's last outing and he's off the mark from Kumara's third delivery, carving the ball over backward point for four.
David Willey then joins in the fun with a fine shot through the covers for four more.
Pressure off?
