What an innings from Pat Cummins, he has been striking the ball better than he has in a long time.

His arrival has taken this from a par of 330/340, that was still a good total, up towards 400.

    Cummins lbw b Boult 37 (Aus 388-8)

Well, I was going to start writing about an umpire review - but Pat Cummins is walking off the field before we get ball tracking, having seen the replay.

He's caught plumb by Boult in front of the stumps, collapsing towards off while trying to turn the ball through square.

Australia become the first team in ODI history to score 350+ in consecutive matches in ODI history.

Phillips takes the catch tumbling forward and at last, a catch is taken.

    Inglis c Phillips b Boult 38 (Aus 387-8)

    Another attempted six... caught!

Inglis tries to hit Boult down the ground but finds Glenn Phillips at long-on. The New Zealand fielder takes the ball diving forward. A catch to go with his three wickets.

Two dropped catches in that over and it has cost New Zealand dearly.

Cummins and Inglis have put on 54 off just 22 balls so far.

    Aus 387-6published at 48 overs

    It's all going on!

Cummins has a successive six, over long-on. Phillips then spills at square leg - he races round the boundary and makes a big dive, but he's actually gone too far by the time the ball reaches him.

Australia's captain finishes the over with another boundary clearance over square. 27 from the over, four sixes from it.

I think Jimmy Neesham's got his tactics all wrong. Inglis wants to go down the ground and Neesham is going into those areas.

  10. 6 runs

    Aus 373-6published at 47.3 overs

    Six, drop, six!

Cummins heave Jimmy Neesham over square leg but should but should be gone next ball but Rachindra drops at deep cover - should have been a regulation boundary take but seemed to reach him early.

Neesham screams in fury and Inglis punishes further by sending him for six more over long-off.

It was a knuckleball from Boult and Cummins has just sliced that away. This is a ground where the ball does just fly.

It didn't clear the boundary by a large amount but it was in the air for a very long time.

    Aus 360-6published at 47 overs

    Six for Cummins!

He doesn't seem to strike Boult's delivery cleanly, but it's thin air in Dharamsala and the ball flies down the ground and over the boundary, striking the parasol shading a relaxed-looking member of ground staff.

Two more singles finish the over.

Inglis has played a one-handed reverse edge that has gone for four. He's taken one hand off the bat.

  15. Aus 351-6published at 46.2 overs

    Funky!

A reverse ramp from Josh Inglis gets to the boundary behind the keeper - he might have even been one-handed there.

Lands flush on the boundary sponge, the umpires are happy it's four after double-checking.

Matt Henry was a little bit wide to Warner early on and he only has himself to blame, it was just one of those starts and that got Travis Head flying.

  18. Aus 344-6published at 46 overs

Cummins gets in on the action, setting himself to guide the ball past wicketkeeper Tom Latham.

How many can Australia get from here? A big four overs to come - 15 from that one.

Sodhi kicks the boundary sponge in frustration with himself, it takes a couple of bouncers, he's got the long barrier, but that is unforgivable.

  20. Aus 337-6published at 45.2 overs

Successive fours from Matt Henry's first two balls. A regulation on-drive from Josh Inglis reaches the ropes, and he finds them again thanks to some horror show fielding from Ish Sodhi.

The substitute fielder forms a long barrier to collect a shot to deep square, but the ball skips off his heel and slips through to the boundary.
