Mark Wood digs it into the pitch again to Rohit Sharma, but this time the England quick bowler is a fraction down the leg side allowing the India skipper to step across his stumps and effortlessly help the ball on its way into the stands for six.

Liam Livingstone got a little bit of purchase there. If Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are still there in 15 overs time, they will be looking accelerate, but this has been a good period for England.

Despite his decent form in the tournament until his injury, can't help but think that Reece Topley's return home makes selection a bit simpler for England. Allows Jos & the selectors to double down on the all-rounder / batting depth play that they became famous for in the dominant years ('19-22).
