I'm sure Mickey Arthur will have spoken to the team about the importance of starting well when you are chasing a small total, so this is no real surprise.

But, after another risky single, that is much better from Abdullah Shafique.

This is an electric start by Pakistan. What it does show is intent.
Target 205
A nervy start for Pakistan and Abdullah Shafique very nearly runs himself out.
Having fished at the first ball outside off, he wants a single next ball and is sent back before actually going for it third ball.
The ball went straight to cover and Shafique was long gone with a direct hit.
Now that everyone has been caught up, it's time for the start of the Pakistan innings.
They need 205 to win. Do that and they'll move to within two points of fourth place and eliminate Bangladesh in the process.
Taskin Ahmed will open the bowling for Bangladesh. Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique are the Pakistan openers.
Then it was over to Mohammad Wasim.
The fast bowler finished the job for Pakistan with some devastating reverse swing bowling.
Three wickets - all bowled - in seven balls to mop up the Bangladesh tail.
Again Bangladesh regrouped, though, with Shakib Al Hasan taking his time before starting to look dangerous.
He was backed up well by Mehidy Hasan Miraz but just when the Tigers looked to be back on track, Shakib was bounced out by Haris Rauf...
Liton Das was in disbelief after he was dismissed in such tame fashion by Iftikhar Ahmed.
Shaheen Afridi then came back to claim the crucial wicket of Mahmudullah for 56 before it was six and out for Towhid Hridoy...
Bangladesh battled back though with Liton Das and Mahmudullah putting on 79 for the fourth wicket...
Let's have a look at the best of the action from the Bangladesh innings then.
It started very well for Pakistan with Shaheen Afridi trapping Tanzid Hasan lbw in the first over to claim his 100th ODI wicket.
Number 101 soon followed and when Haris Rauf had Mushfiqur Rahim caught behind, Bangladesh were 23-3...
Pakistan bowler Haris Rauf, who took 2-36: "Brilliant. The wicket was very slow so as a bowling unit we tried to bowl wicket to wicket balls and it worked, so we stuck to the plan.
"The ball was reversing so we discussed as a bowling unit how to get wickets and it was helpful for us."
On Shaheen Afridi: "He is a different class, every time he comes in with the new ball and takes wickets it is good for us. When he take early wickets it puts the opposition under pressure as well."

Superb new-ball bowling and excellent bowling at the death from Pakistan.
In between, Bangladesh did OK but contrived to lose a wicket every time they looked to have built a platform from which they could kick on.
After a good first half, Babar Azam's side are doing what they need to do to keep their very slim top four hopes alive.

That was slightly unfortunate for Mustafizur Rahman, who has hit the ball into his feet and cannoned into his stumps. You have to say it's high quality fast bowling at the end for Pakistan.

Bowled 'im... somehow.
It's full, it's fast and it's arrowing in at the stumps from Mohammad Wasim.
But Mustafizur does well to get his bat down to keep it out. Only for the ball to hit his foot and roll onto the stumps.
Job done for Pakistan with Wasim mopping up the tail in double-quick time.
Singles from the last three balls of the Shaheen Afridi over and, given the assistance for Pakistan seamers, every run is a bonus for Bangladesh's 10 and 11.

Quite a few Pakistan players came up and gave Babar Azam a pat on the back after those wickets. He's feeling the love from his team-mates. There's been a lot of things going on behind the scenes regarding his captaincy.
Shaheen Afridi is really getting this ball to reverse big now.
It comes in very late and in the block hole but Mustafizur Rahman does well to dig it out to cover.
