That boundary has got the Bangladesh fans cheering and enjoying themselves.

That is good execution from Mahmudullah. It is good to see him using his feet because he knows he's not going to get hurt when Angelo Mathews is bowling at 75mph.

  3. Ban 232-4published at 36 overs

Mahmudullah dances down the track as he attempts to heave Angelo Mathews over the top. He doesn't quite time the ball but squirts off an inside edge and escapes through mid-wicket for four.

These new Bangladesh batters have shown great intent and regained the initiative after the loss of those two quick wickets.

He's about four yards off the sponges. If he's standing on the ropes I reckon that is taken. It is not easy to judge the depth though.

Was it a chance? It was high above him and it would have needed to be a one-handed catch.

    Ban 224-4published at 34.3 overs

Mahmudullah pulls Dilshan Madushanka around the corner and it just beats the despairing dive of Dushmantha Chameera on the fine leg boundary for six.

That was inches away from being an incredible catch.

    Angelo Mathews strikes back.

These two Bangladesh batters just need to soak up the pressure for a couple of overs.

    Target 280

Mushfiqur Rahim is the new batter and all of a sudden there may be a few nerves creeping into the Bangladesh camp.

    That will help, though.

Mushfiqur drives into the off side and the ball has just enough to reach the rope.

It was no more than a push but the timing was exquisite.

That thought will definitely be creeping into Bangladesh's minds. They have got two batters but they are very experienced batters.

Bangladesh do have a collapse in them.

Maybe just one or two people will be thinking 'could we just have something we weren't expecting here?'.

    Shanto b Mathews 90 (Ban 211-4)

Well, well. Is there a twist in the tail?

Angelo Mathews has another - and it is the other set batter Najmul Hossain Shanto.

It is a pretty loose stroke really as he looks to cut the ball into the cover region but a thick inside edge sends the ball clattering into the stumps.

Shanto departs 10 agonising runs short of a century.

Shakib Al Hasan looked ready to end this game pretty quickly before that dismissal.

Poor old Kasun Rajitha got carted all over the ground.

This is no-pressure cricket for Bangladesh. This is where they play their best cricket.

  15. Ban 210-3published at 32 overs

Mahmudullah is the new batter and sees off the rest of the over.

A wicket maiden for Angelo Mathews. That may make him feel a little bit better, even if it is likely to be in a losing cause.

He will be, just a little bit, pleased with that.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 31.1 overs

    Shakib c Asalanka b Mathews 82 (Ban 210-3)

And Angelo Mathews has removed Shakib Al Hasan!

Shakib looks to play it into the on side but gets in a bit of a mix-up and the ball spoons up off a leading edge, Charith Asalanka then runs in and taking a really smart catch diving at full stretch.

Mathews, with a cheeky smile on his face, gives Shakib a send-off by pointing at his watch as the Bangladesh skipper departs.

Kasun Rajitha has, unsurprisingly, been taken out of the firing line as Angelo Mathews returns.

It looks a bit like of a pop concert in Delhi at the moment, one where they let off a smoke machine.

This is so positive from Bangladesh, it is how we wanted them to play throughout this tournament. It is a small light after a dark tournament.
