It's a huge opportunity for New Zealand to have a big win here.
No chances created by Ravindra in this over as Sri Lanka's resilience continues.
Three singles come from the over and it just gives New Zealand a little bit more to do when chasing. Every run for Sri Lanka will feel valuable.
Lockie Ferguson will bowl his final over next.

He's done a really good job here, Madushanka. He's faced 19 balls so far.
Six runs come from the over in total and this partnership, as the previous one did, is showing some real resistance.
No.11 Madushanka is almost into double figures and has added a little bit of frustration for the Black Caps.

What a stroke that is. I'm not sure that Madushanka knows how he did it!
Unorthodox, but Madushanka finds four to bring up 150.
Ferguson's shorter ball is wide and in what looked like a defensive uppercut, flies away to the boundary at deep backward point for four. Sri Lanka will take what they can take from here.

That was slashed by Madushanka! It's one of those where he saw a loose one and just went for it. A loose ball from Ravindra.
Ravindra's latest over does find the outside of Madushanka's bat, but it is well-defended with soft hands, falling short of Mitchell at slip.
The final ball of the over was an ugly full toss, Madushanka went to thump that all of the way to the boundary, but it drops well short of deep cover point and a single is taken.
New Zealand does really feel like the people's team doesn't it? Especially after 2019 and just the fact they have a lot of likeable players.
Boult's final over goes for two runs, seeing him end with figures of 3-37.
Now, what can Ravindra come up with this time?

With England gone, I’m hoping NZ go on to win the tournament. Really admire their approach to the game, winning so many friends in defeat in 2019.

Three come from Ravindra's over. His last came with a wicket and a missed run out and this one almost leads to the final wicket too.
Boult continues for his final over, currently sitting on figures of 3-35.

Perfect placement really. Three men could have caught that ball.
Another chance given, but Theekshana's lofted drive goes up in the air and just about finds the gap between Phillips, Santner and Boult in the field at an extra cover position.
New Zealand's latest opportunity goes begging.
Just one more single comes from the over, with Boult's six balls there leading to five runs for Sri Lanka.
Santner worked magic in his spell with the ball. Can Ravindra follow suit and take the last wicket?

New Zealand's batting line-up has been on pretty good form. I don't think it will take much to take Sri Lanka down.
New Zealand are on the way to winning this game.
A hack and four runs from Theekshana. Not the cleanest of strikes, but he gets enough on that to bat it down the ground for four more.
Theekshana is now in the 20s and he looks relatively settled.

New Zealand don't have to do a much here. They just have to play normal cricket.
More aggression shown against Ravindra as Sri Lanka take four singles from the over.
That end of the ground has had 12 straight overs of left-arm spin, 10 from Santner and two from Ravindra.

I think Sri Lanka were still chewing on their nutrition bars from the drinks break.

That would have been miles out with a hit. Boult's throw was quite wide, which allowed Madushanka to get home.
