  1. WI 175-3published at 34 overs

Shimron Hetmyer goes for a wild swipe outside off stump that flies off the edge and lands just in front of two converging fielders.

Hetmyer times the ball better later in the over though as he pulls the ball through mid-wicket.

10 off the over, which is pretty much the required rate.

That's more like it! Shai Hope heaves Liam Livingstone back over his head and over the rope for a huge six.

Shimron Hetmyer follows that up later in the over with a near identical shot that bounces just before the rope for four.

That's the most expensive over of Livingstone's spell, with 12 runs coming off it.

  3. WI 153-3published at 32 overs

No Will Jacks just yet as Brydon Carse continues, with just three runs coming off his sixth over.

West Indies are grinding to a halt a bit, they need to step things up.

With Shimon Hetmeyer at the crease, might Jos Buttler be tempted to turn to Will Jacks’ off-spin?

  5. WI 150-3published at 31 overs

The required rate is now above nine as Liam Livingstone races through another miserly over at the cost of just two runs.

West Indies will have to start taking some risks soon if the rate isn't to spiral out of control.

  6. WI 148-3published at 30 overs

It is very nearly two in two! New batter Shimron Hetmyer chips his first ball just over the diving fielder at mid-wicket and scampers through for two.

Another back-of-a-length delivery then keeps low on Shai Hope and hits him on the thigh pad in front. Jos Buttler has a long think before deciding against the review - and wisely so, as ball tracking showed it to be going over the top.

Still, an entertaining return to the attack from Brydon Carse.

Another one that’s kept low as the ball has gone softer. But from a West Indies perspective, the end of Carty’s laborious stay at the crease might be a bonus.

    Yes. Yes he will.

It was another delivery that kept very low and trapped Keacy Carty bang in front.

Carty, who never really got going, has a brief think about reviewing but decides against it.

  9. WI 144-2published at 29 overs

Liam Livingstone races through another over at the cost of just three runs as West Indies nudge their way to 144-2. At this same stage England were 180-3.

There's a change of bowling at the other end as Brydon Carse returns. He also got some treatment at the start of the innings. Will he have more luck this time?

Jodi: Trying to feel festive whilst watching West Indies v England. The decorations are going up with a few cricket related decorations for good measure. Jos the dog (yes, that's where he got his name from) is trying to 'nick' all the baubles. Such fun.

Anyone else have an cricket related Christmas decorations?

Sam Curran finds a bit of extra bounces that rushes Shai Hope into his attempted cut shot and the ball whistles through to Jos Buttler.

Curran has been more economical in his second spell, showing that there is life in this pitch for the seamers

  12. WI 137-2published at 27 overs

The Winviz actually hit 49-51 immediately before West Indies lost their first wicket. Since then it has edged further and further in the hosts' favour.

That's a good shot from Shai Hope though. He pounces on a short ball from Liam Livingstone, rocking back and with a huge swing of the arms hammering the ball through mid-wicket for four.

Hope has scored 374 ODI runs at this ground, more than any other player, at an average of just over 53.

    Winviz

    Thanks, Ffion.

West Indies made a good start but the introduction of spin and those two quick wickets have dragged things back for England.

Despite the success of spin, Jos Buttler opts for some seam as Sam Curran returns.

He was carted for 30 runs from his first four overs and is promptly hit for four with his first delivery back. He does well to drag it back though, conceding just a single off the rest of the over.

  14. WI 125-2published at 25 overs

    Target 326

Shot! Shai Hope gets his first boundary with an authoritative thump down the ground for four off Liam Livingstone.

West Indies are still in it at the halfway stage but England are still favourites, given the inexperience of the middle order.

And on that note, here's Tom Mallows to take you through the conclusion of the game.

That was West Indies' first boundary since the 17th over, having dealt exclusively in singles for 37 balls, as well as losing two wickets.

    Blimey, he needed that.

A rare loose delivery from Rehan Ahmed is swept for four by Keacy Carty to ease the pressure on him a little.

  17. WI 114-2published at 23 overs

    Target 326

It's like these two are batting on a completely different surface.

Alick Athanaze and Brandon King were timing the ball beautifully during their opening stand but since then, Keacy Carty has struggled to six from 22 balls and the pressure is piling up on Shai Hope at the other end.

  18. WI 112-2published at 22 overs

    Target 326

The first maiden of the match comes from Rehan Ahmed.

West Indies are going nowhere and playing right in to Jos Buttler's hands as he can just keep Ahmed and Livingstone plugging away.

  19. WI 112-2published at 21 overs

    Target 326

More singles, as Livingstone gets away with a couple of drag-downs to Keacy Carty, who is batting purely in rebuild mode.

The wickets in consecutive overs have really damaged West Indies. They were going so well.

England will want to get the wicket of Shai Hope pretty quickly here. The West Indies captain averages 50.57 in Antigua.
