  1. Eng 166-2published at 16.5 overs

Alzarri Joseph concedes a front foot no ball and a free hit. Livingstone's fires the subsequent ball right down the ground and into the hands of Rovman Powell - lucky boy.

The England batters take a couple more twos, the second bring up the fifty partnership from 30 balls.

  2. 6 runs

    Another six for Livingstone!

Joseph's attempted yorker is too full and Livingstone sends the full toss flying high over square leg.

  3. Eng 152-2published at 16 overs

    71 needed from 24 balls

Russell slows England a little - no further boundaries from the over.

England get two after a throw from long-on isn't backed up.

Salt crashes Russell over mid-wicket for six! The ball bounces just wide of a flag saying "Happy birthday Gail" - I hope you enjoyed that Gail, wherever you are in the world.

The England opener, meanwhile, moves to 74 from 42 balls.

And here are the worms to visualise that - England are just ahead.

But you can see how even just a couple of quieter overs made it a lot closer - both sides have batted at a ferocious rate.

  6. Eng 140-2published at 15 overs

    83 needed from 30 balls

England's batters slug another couple of singles into the deep, only finding the fielders.

At this stage, the West Indies were 135-4.

  7. 6 runs

    Eng 138-2published at 14.4 overs

Oh, that's huge from Liam Livingstone!

A lovely 95m lofted drive down the ground off Alzarri Joseph brings another six.

  8. Eng 128-2published at 14 overs

    95 needed from 36 balls

    Is that Liam Livingstone gone?

He chips down to long-off and Rovman Powell appears to take the catch diving forward, having run in from the boundary.

But the West Indies captain doesn't claim it and replays from other angles show the ball bounced just short of his hands.

  9. 6 runs

    Eng 125-2published at 13.2 overs

    That's more like it!

Livingstone hoicks a full toss from Holder over the square leg boundary for his first six.

  10. Eng 119-2published at 13 overs

Blimey, Liam Livingstone nearly departs first ball!

Motie sends a pearler down that just about beats the off stump. There's a rueful smile from Livingstone - he knew how good that ball was.

Three balls later Phil Salt dabs and runs into the covers - the throw breaks the stumps at the bowler's end and the opener makes a big dive... replays show he's well in.

A single finishes the over and that's a cracking recovery from Gudakesh Motie - after seeing his first over go for 18, he finishes with figures of 1-30.

Meanwhile England have scored just four runs in the eleven balls since Buttler's dismissal.

    Jacks c Pooran b Motie 1 (Eng 116-2)

Well, it was feast for Salt and Buttler, famine for Will Jacks.

He never looked comfortable at the crease, and falls to the second ball of Motie's final over. He steps back for the cut, but can only edge to Nicholas Pooran standing up behind the stumps.

Is this a wobble? It certainly has wobbly qualities.

Here's the situation with WinViz after the fall of England's first wicket.

England look well set despite the set back but West Indies remain favourites.

New batter Will Jacks gets off the mark at the fourth time of asking, taking a single to backward point from Russell's final delivery. He retains the strike.

    Buttler c Joseph b Russell 51 (Eng 115-1)

Fifty and out for Jos Buttler!

He ramps Andre Russell's first delivery to bring up his half century off 33 balls, but is gone next ball.

Buttler top edges a pull shot and the ball flies to Akeal Hosein, riding the ropes at backward square. The momentum of his run is taking him over the boundary so he pops the ball up for Alzarri Joseph, who's run round from fine leg, and the Antiguan just about takes the relay catch high above his head.

The opening partnership closes at 115 - England's fifth highest in T20 internationals.

  15. Eng 111-0published at 11 overs

Another Motie over of just singles - four this time.

His first over went for 18, the second two have cost his side half that.

England's line continues to ride comfortably clear of the West Indies'.

    And beautifully clear of wickets.

Three singles to close the over and that Akeal Hosein's afternoon done - he finishes with figures of 0-44.

At the halfway stage, England are just under halfway to their target with all ten wickets in hand - they're well set, but we've been burnt before.

But there it is - Salt sending a six sailing over long off.

This is pretty rapid stuff from the England openers.

  19. Eng 97-0published at 9 overs

Gudakesh Motie changes ends and delivers a better over, just five singles coming from it.

England will have to wait a little longer to pass 100.

  20. Fifty for Phil Saltpublished at 8 overs

    Eng 92-0

That's the half century for the England opener!

First he hooks Jason Holder, swivelling to send the ball away for four.

Consecutive twos follow, the second - a push to square leg - bringing up the landmark.

Salt looks gassed from all that running - he drops to his haunches and drinks come on. It's 28 degrees and 77% humidity out in Grenada.
