West Indies' total of 222-6 is the highest score in T20 internationals at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium.
It eclipsed the 208-7 Ireland made against the West Indies in 2020.
Nicholas Pooran speaking to TNT Sports: "Giving myself a chance today was really important. I tried to stick to my game plan as much as possible. I left a few runs out there, but 222, hopefully we can defend that.
"It's about being confident, backing your skills. I back myself into those situations, I felt I was in a good position.
"I've been batting number three since the year started, I've been doing well, being consistent. We're a young group, I can take that responsibility."
A six to finish for Jason Holder who backs away and smears Reece Topley over the boundary at cover. A classy finish to the end of the innings.
A change of bat for Andre Russell but he can only pick up another single off Reece Ropley.
Jason Holder uses his leavers and sends the ball into orbit. A monster six down the ground from the all-rounder.
Reece Topley with the final over.
Jason Holder picks up a single before Andre Russell fails to cash in on a full toss.
"Everybody screeeeammmmm!" roars the DJ as Andre Russell muscles Sam Curran's final ball straight down the ground for another six.
Rutherford c Salt b Curran 29 (WI 197-6)
Sherfane Rutherford wallops a delivery held back by Sam Curran for six over long-off but is gone next ball.
The West Indies batter advances down the track and ends ups skying a filthy swat down the ground and into the hands of Phil Salt.
No celebration for England which gives an indication of quite where this game looks to be going.
That brings Andre Russell to the crease. He'll fancy a couple of overs of bottom-handed biffing you would have thought.
Pooran c Livingstone b Rashid 82 (WI 183-5)
Adil Rashid exacts some level of revenge as Nicholas Pooran finally falls.
The left-hander can't get enough on another heave off the leg-spinner and picks out Liam Livingstone at deep mid-wicket.
Nicholas Pooran is eyeing up a century here.
He wallops two sixes off three deliveries from Adil Rashid over deep square.
The second almost saved by a backward diving effort on the fence. Gus Atkinson I think it was who tipped it over the bar.
Nicholas Pooran with a quite breathtaking shot. The left-hander cuts Tymal Mills for six over cover point.
Pooran ensures it is an expensive over from Mills as he edges a full bunger for four.
West Indies take 25 off those six balls. Eesh.
Stand and deliver from Sherfane Rutherford who takes back-to-back boundaries off Tymal Mills.
Mills' first ball is a slower ball, brutally smeared straight down the ground for four, before the England left-arm seamer is dispatched over the square leg boundary.
England ponder a review after Adil Rahid strikes Sherfane Rutherford on the back leg with his penultimate ball but Jos Buttler declines to follow up on it.
Real panache from Nicholas Pooran as he deftly guides Adil Rashid fine through the vacant third region for four to bring up his half-century - his 11th in T20 internationals - off 37 balls.
The DJ at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium in St George's is cranking up the volume between boundaries.
Pooran will be eyeing up a big finish.
Sherfane Rutherford picks up a slower ball from Sam Curran first up and thrashes to the boundary for four, between two England fielders.
Curran then goes through his variations and largely escapes without any major damage.
My view is the hosts of the World Cup will have spent a lot of time gearing for a tournament on home turf and West Indies have definitely looked sharp in this series. They'll be in the mix.
Moeen Ali hustles through another over of spin, which just goes for six - four of which came off the first ball from the bat of Nicholas Pooran.

As West Indies batters crash England around the ground, we're going to ask the question... are the hosts genuine contenders for next summer's Twenty20 World Cup?
Winners in 2012 and 2016 and semi-finalists in 2014, they've been less impressive in the two most recent tournaments - failing to get out of a group containing Ireland, Scotland and Zimbabwe in Australia last year.
But they're 2-0 up in this series and beat India 3-2 at home in August. Do they stand a chance?
Powell c Buttler b Curran 39 (WI 120-4)
Final ball of the over, though, and Sam Curran has his man as Rovman Powell top edges a pull into the gloves of Jos Buttler.
Curran rushes Powell for pace and the West Indies skipper ends up spooning the ball high into the air. Buttler is able to make his ground quite comfortably.
The ball-tracking technology shows it was pitching outside so no dice. Rovman Powell survives.
Fair delivery. No bat involved.
