  1. Ind 412-7published at 96 overs

Lauren Bell does look spiritly this morning after her long sleep. She gets the ball to swing in to Pooja Vastrakar who has to defend.

I reckon I'd have slept for a good 12 hours had I had to work like England did yesterday in the heat. My record is 13 hours straight.

  2. Ind 411-7published at 95 overs

    Deepti 61, Vastrakar 4

Conditions look much the same as yesterday. It's only 09:30 in Mumbai so it'll heat up as we go on too.

There is plenty of early enthusiasm from England players - "come on Deano" chirps Tammy Beaumont from under batter Deepti Sharma's nose - but no scares for the batters.

Lauren Bell also says she has pulled up pretty well after a long day in the sun.

She says she's had her best sleep of the tour which probably isn't a surprise.

India batter Yastika Bhatia, who made 66 on day one: "The batters responded to winning the toss. The wicket was very nice. The ball was coming onto the bat nicely. My role was to stay at the crease and runs would automatically come."

England bowler Lauren Bell: "India batted really well. I guess that is Test match cricket. It was a tough day today, but I feel like we can come back tomorrow and that is the beauty of it.

"We had to work hard for our wickets. You can't prepare for a Test match until you actually play it, you don't know how it's going to be, but definitely the second phase of the game was tough."

England had to suffer on day one of this one-off Test in India as the hosts complied 410-7.

Heather Knight's team battled hard but were undone by some resolute batting, a flat pitch and some inconsistency.

It's already a tall order to turn this around. They need quick wickets this morning to have any chance.
