I wonder what the most interesting thing anyone could tell me about East Midlands Parkway is.

Ravichandran Ashwin continues after drinks with Rehan Ahmed and Ben Stokes starting and ending the over with a single.

  3. drinks break

    Eng 142-6published at 45 overs

England get to the relief of drinks. They have lost three wickets in this session but I don't think they have played badly. This is tough.

It's the low arm from Axar Patel that draws batters in, making them prod at balls outside off stump.

Ben Foakes has been done by a ball that has turned a long way. England are in real trouble.

Yes, Kev. The best so far.

If Rehan Ahmed bats as well as he does in his head, England could still get plenty. The 19-year-old is off the mark with a couple.

Rehan Ahmed is the new batter.

It's another turning delivery from Axar Patel. England are in all sorts of trouble now as we're getting in to the bowlers.

They're in a very precarious position. First-innings runs are so, so crucial in India. Anything up from 200 will be a very good score for England from here.

    Foakes c Bharat b Axar 4 (Eng 137-6)

Another one gone. Ben Foakes edges forward and pokes outside off stump to the latest turning delivery from Axar Patel. He gets a thin edge and the safe hands of wicketkeeper Bharat do the rest.

    Better from Justin.

Ravichandran Ashwin goes up for an appeal at the end of his latest over to Ben Stokes. Rohit Sharma is pleading too but nothing from the umpire. That was probably missing leg.

More showing off. What about train stations in Telford?

Ben Foakes middles one but such are England's fortunes right now it clatters into the fielder at silly point. Foakes has to quickly get his bat down to stop himself being run out.

It's not surprising to see India turning to Ashwin, with all his experience. He can get the ball to turn away from the left-handed Stokes, who has looked assured so far but this will be a different challenge altogether.

We knew it wouldn't take long. Ravichandran Ashwin is on, looking to get Ben Stokes out for the 10th time in Tests.

The England skipper is watchful, playing out a maiden with the middle of his bat.

Ben Stokes winds up to smack a long-hop for six but it keeps low to hit him on the knee. Good pitch...
