    Duckett c Bharat b Duckett 28 (Eng 50-1)

    And Ashwin strikes back!

Inside edge on to pad, the ball loops up and KS Bharat does brilliantly, charging from behind the stumps and leaping full stretch to take the ball just before it hits the ground.

    Big breakthrough for India.

    Jinxed it!

Duckett gets away with one. He miscues a reverse sweep off Ashwin, the top edge flying up and over the keeper's head for four.

He looks frustrated but I don't think Ashwin will mind the shot selection.

Another fifty partnership for these two.

Ben Duckett unveils another sweep, and finds another boundary.

He's executed it very well so far, not using the shot constantly but just picking the right ball well.

It'll take more than a deteriorating pitch and a world-class spin attack to stop Ben Duckett from sweeping.

He slog sweeps Kuldeep Yadav for a one-bounce four.

I was once sledged by a spectator sat in a deck chair on the boundary. As I was chasing after the ball he shouted, "Oi Shire horse, take the caravan off your back." I always thought I was rather spritely in the field!

    Matt, Manchester

I actually got sledged by an umpire when I was bowling in a game in Regent's Park. As I delivered, what I thought was a decent-paced ball, he said under his breath, "It's left our end, it's on its way down!" Brutal!

The first ball from Kuldeep Yadav keeps low, but Zak Crawley's response is to smack the next over mid-wicket for six!

    The audacity.

Mukesh Kumar beats Duckett's outside edge a couple of times but then serves one way too full for Crawley to drill straight down the ground.

And follows it with one on his pads for him to clip away to mid-wicket. Frustration for Rohit Sharma as the seamer completely relieves the pressure that Jasprit Bumrah had built.

You can’t bowl on the stumps to Crawley. I don’t mind him hitting through the covers.

Jasprit Bumrah has bowled two overs and hasn't got a go at Ben Duckett yet.

Nick Henderson: I don't give England a chance of winning this match. They've done so well to restrict India here but there's simply too many runs to get. They'll give it a right go, but they will fall short.

Patrick Brennan: Let's be honest here. England are either winning this or losing by 250 plus. There is no in between.

Every ball from Jasprit Bumrah feels like an event. He is just a joy.

He zips one past Crawley's outside edge, drawing an appeal but there's nothing there. Wisely, Rohit Sharma isn't tempted into a review.

He follows it by nipping one back in and pinning Zak Crawley on the inside thigh. Way too high for an lbw but he's causing plenty of problems.

    A maiden.
