    Bairstow lbw b Bumrah 26 (Eng 194-6)

Gone! Umpire's call on leg stump.

There's a little stare for umpire Chris Gaffaney from Jonny Bairstow as the decision comes up on the big screen.

Ben Stokes purses his lips and shakes his head too.

    England are in big trouble.

It's hit him on the flap of the pad.

Is it going to be too high?

  3. England reviewpublished at 05:58 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February

Jasprit Bumrah has got Jonny Bairstow trapped in front!

After words with Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ben Stokes, he opts to review.

Ben Stokes is the new batter.

    Five minutes until the interval.

Huge wicket. It kept low, skuttled through - but I really didn't think that was out. It looked like it was going down the leg side.

Zak Crawley was playing beautifully so it's a big blow for England.

How many TV viewers thought that was hitting leg stump?!

The England team are still looking at the replays.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 42 overs

    Crawley lbw b Kuldeep 73 (Eng 194-5)

    A HUGE blow!

It was pitching inline and it was going on to crash into leg stump.

Marais Erasmus doesn't get many wrong, but he did on this occasion. I think Zak Crawley knew as well.

Kuldeep Yadav strikes in his first over of the day.

    There's no bat.

Is it pitching inline? Is it sliding down?

  9. India reviewpublished at 42 overs

Has Kuldeep Yadav trapped Zak Crawley in front?

Marais Erasmus says no, but India want another look.

  10. Postpublished at 05:48 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February

Double change for India. Kuldeep Yadav is on at the other end.

Fantastic from Jonny Bairstow. England need him at his very best today if they are going to get anywhere close.

    Jonny Bairstow!

He's more than equal to Jasprit Bumrah (for the time being anyway) and picks up two boundaries with drives through the covers.

    England need 207 more.

    Jasprit Bumrah is back.

There's just under 20 minutes until lunch. Maybe time for three overs of quick stuff.

    Will he find another wicket?

If anyone in Visakhapatnam is reading this, please can you shout James' message to Jonny Bairstow? Let's get him stoked up.

England have taken 31 singles in this innings so far. They've also hit 31 boundaries - 29 fours and two sixes.

Unless he does something special here, Bairstow is the obvious choice to depart for Brook to return, right?

    Four more.

Ravichandran Ashwin drops short and Jonny Bairstow isn't going to miss out on that.

He rocks back and cuts into the cover boundary.

This will help Jasprit Bumrah get loose.

Zak Crawley drives past him at mid-off and he has to go collect the ball.

Bumrah is getting loose for a pre-lunch burst.

How has that missed? Axar Patel grips one past Zak Crawley's bat and I have no idea how it then hasn't hit the stumps. Rohit Sharma can't believe it either.

Significant turn to end the over too but Jonny Bairstow is withdrawing his bat. I think anyway, I'll give him the benefit of doubt.
