This is going to be an interesting one, a 2.7 second stop for Russell. Where is he going to filter out, this could be crucial.

Mercedes tell George Russell to box and the British driver comes in for the hards and is back out in eighth place.

McLaren did do a little fake out on their rivals a few laps earlier, seemingly getting ready to take in Oscar Piastri, but the Australian has stayed out and is now in third spot.

So, tyres are concern across the field now. Fernando Alonso has got rid of his starting mediums and is now down in P15 on the hard compound.

"Rear tyres are quite bad now"

The tyres are dropping off, says Lewis Hamilton, after he attempts a move on the RB of Yuki Tsunoda for P9 but goes wide at Turn 16 instead. The 39-year-old feels the car is not right today after yesterday's strong qualifying.

"You're killing me with this offset"

Lando Norris collects another fastest lap in the rapid McLaren and is now 19 seconds clear of the Red Bull of Max Verstappen. The pair are still on the their starting medium tyre, with the Mercedes of George Russell just behind in P3 after Lewis Hamilton's stop a few laps ago - a strategy the seven-time world champion is not too pleased with.

Charles Leclerc has been behind Hulkenberg and Alonso for what seems like the entirety of this race so far and can't find a way through.

Charles Leclerc, meanwhile, is being told to keep his cool in the cockpit, as the Ferrari man is unhappy at being stuck behind the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg's Haas in seventh place.

Hamilton over the radio has said he's already struggling with the hard tyre, if he's going to make that go to the end of 62 laps that is a hard task.

Lewis Hamilton is asking his Mercedes team was he one of the first to pit in this race? Yes, he is one of the few drivers who have already made their stops, comes the reply. Yuki Tsunoda is his next target to get back in the points.

Did Lewis Hamilton brush the wall on the way out of the pits? The replay doesn't give us a conclusive answer. The Mercedes man is running in 11th place having taken the place of Alpine's Esteban Ocon.

They retired Alex Albon's car due to a suspected power unit cooling issue, they are going to investigate that after the race.

McLaren are telling Lando Norris they want him to go as long as possible on his medium tyres, so look after that yellow rubber as best you can. The gap between himself and Max Verstappen in second is now 16.3 seconds.

Hamilton managed to make his tyres last 18 laps, Pirelli predicted 19 for the softs and in a couple of laps time we should expect the medium runners to come in [to the pits].

Lewis Hamilton reaches the back of the Haas of Kevin Magnussen in his bid to climb up the field and a quick shimmy to the outside of the Dane to take P12.

However, Hamilton thinks he may have clipped the wall coming out of the pits earlier on.

Lando Norris is calmly building his lead over Max Verstappen and it now stands at over 14 seconds.

Such a shame for Albon, was hoping in Singapore to make it three consecutive points finishes, it will be his fourth DNF of the season.

No physical damage to the exterior of the Williams but perhaps something internally.
