What a lovely move from Oscar Piastri as the McLaren gets through on the seven-time champion [Hamilton].

Right, lap 41 and Lando Norris leads from Max Verstappen and the Mercedes of George Russell.

Good strategy there from Ferrari getting Leclerc in on that lap to make sure they have the track position ahead of Nico Hulkenberg.

Piastri has now come into the pits and bolted on a new fresh set of hard tyres. He's come out 1.7 seconds behind Lewis Hamilton.

His team-mate Norris is still leading the pack.

Andrew: Bring the lizard back out, we need something to liven up this race!

The race between Charles Leclerc and George Russell is bubbling up nicely. The Mercedes driver tries to go around the outside of the Ferrari at Turn 17 but the move doesn't quite stick and Russell runs wide and yields position.

The race is on between Piastri and Hamilton, the race is on between Russell and Leclerc.

The instructions are coming thick and fast for Oscar Piastri and his latest piece of information involves possibly having to pass Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes. The Australian agrees to the new strategy and gives it the seal of approval.

Plan C is the order for Oscar Piastri from McLaren, but the Australian says his front tyre, which is 34 laps old is struggling slightly.

Verstappen will jump Piastri for second place when Piastri pits, but the question is, can Piastri catch him at the end of the race with pressure?

George Russell wants some encouragement on the Mercedes team radio as he continues his race in fifth place. Does he get it? Sort of...

The damage isn't too much of a concern for McLaren, they tell Lando Norris, so carry on as you were. Replays show the Brit locked up and just brushed the wall with his papaya car.

Norris leads from Piastri by 4.6 seconds, but his Australian team-mate is yet to pit.

It's been a bit of a slow burn in the first 30 laps of this race but it's starting to come alive now.

OK, job done for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman goes up to third place and Charles Leclerc drops to fourth.

Lando Norris has pitted for a bit of front wing TLC and is released into the wild to return to his P1 spot on the hard compound. Oscar Piastri, who hasn't stopped, is second.

"I've got front wing damage maybe"

We are seeing Oscar Piastri take chunks out of Max Verstappen towards the end of their stints on the medium tyres.

Could we now see a fight between them come the end of the race?

There is concern over at McLaren. Lando Norris thinks he has front wing damage.

While the team look at the data, Max Verstappen comes in from second to pit and bolt on the hards.

The Red Bull driver comes out and finds the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc close by. Verstappen needs to stick close to the Monegasque driver in P4.

Mission complete for Charles Leclerc. With Fernando Alonso pitting, the Ferrari man just had Nico Hulkenberg to pass. He's completed that task and is now in fourth place.
