Martin Lukeman is staying in this quarter-final, taking out double 10 to hold his own throw.

    Lukeman 2-5 Van den Bergh

Always a psychological blow when your opponent lands the double with the last of three darts in hand.

And Dimitri Van den Bergh does just that, missing two darts at tops but hitting the third to move three legs ahead once again.

    Lukeman 2-4 Van den Bergh

Good start to the second mini-session from Martin Lukeman - and he needed it.

A big 180 sets up a chance at tops and he nails it second dart.

    He's back in it now.

    Lukeman 1-4 Van den Bergh

Opportunity finally arises for Martin Lukeman but he misses three darts at double 12.

But Van den Bergh is equally wasteful - and the Englishman hits double six to get on the scoreboard.

  6. BULLSEYE!published at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Lukeman 0-4 Van den Bergh

Brilliant bullseye finish from Van den Bergh to take out 132.

A 25, treble 19 and bull denies Martin Lukeman his first dart at a double in the match.

He's lost all four legs without even having had a poke at a finish. Ruthless stuff from the Belgian.

There is a constant murmur in the Butlin's arena after that unbelievable preceding match.

And the atmosphere appears to be benefiting the more experienced - TV games at least - Dimitri Van den Bergh.

He's had three darts at a double - and hit them all.

  8. DVDB breaks to double leadpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Lukeman 0-2 Van den Bergh

This is Martin Lukeman's biggest match on a TV stage.

And the 38-year-old Englishman falls behind early doors as Dimitri Van den Bergh takes out 80 to break throw and double his lead.

  9. Van den Bergh takes the openerpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Lukeman 0-1 Van den Bergh

A bit of a hush in the audience as they get their collective breath back after that absolute classic between Damon Heta and Luke Littler.

But Dimitri Van den Bergh gets a nice ripple of applause for taking the opening leg with double 16.

Great game! Best I've seen Heta play, he was properly up for it today. These defeats will make Littler a stronger player in the long term but he needs to work on his humility. A few too many times now he's not shown grace after a loss.

Dimitri Van den Bergh delights the fans with his trademark on-stage dance.

Darts and dancing is not something you would necessarily put together but the Belgian has rhythm to certainly make me jealous.

    Lukeman v Van den Bergh

Martin Lukeman is one of the last eight's surprise packages - and he's beaten two former UK Open champions, Danny Noppert and Gary Anderson, en route.

The 38-year-old, nicknamed Smash and ranked 35th on the PDC Order of Merit, is seeking his first-ever semi-final appearance at a PDC major.

He's up against Belgium 'Dancing' Dimitri Van den Bergh, who likes to have fun during his entrances and throw a few shapes on stage to entertain the crowd.

The 29-year-old is bidding for his second PDC major title after lifting the World Matchplay crown in 2020.

    Result: Heta 10-8 Littler

    Mark Webster
Former BDO world champion on ITV4

It was one of the best games I've ever seen.

They were at it from the off.

Damon Heta, testament to him, he deserved to win that match and he knew what he had to do to beat Luke Littler.

He said he was up for it and it showed. He's come unstuck in quarter-finals before and he's got over that hurdle - he's in the mix now and he's just performed like a champion but he's got to go and do it again.

    Result: Heta 10-8 Littler

Damon Heta, speaking to ITV4 after beating Luke Littler to reach the UK Open semi-finals:

"I was up for it, sometimes I feel like that in my practise as well so I know the feeling. To come up against Luke Littler, who has taken the media by storm and darts by storm - I love him to bits and it's a massive boost to darts.

"I know what I'm up against with these Premier League players, these are guys I need to beat and if I keep doing this regularly, who knows, maybe I'll be a top player one day!

"I've got the game [to win the tournament], I've shown in previous results, so there's no reason I can't get the job done."

    Result: Heta 10-8 Littler

He might have been an Aussie playing an Englishman but Damon Heta has really won the Minehead crowd over.

And correctly so - what a performance. And the fans reward his win with a huge ovation.

Indeed there were loud cheers when his winning dart went in - not often you'll see that for an Aussie in England after beating a home country sportsman.

    Result: Heta 10-8 Littler

A bit of a conversation between the two on stage at the end after Damon Heta had to wait a while for Luke Littler to turn around and shake hands.

But all seems to be friendly as they share an embrace.

A simply sensational game of darts.

    Heta 9-8 Littler

They're both smashing in the big scores despite the pressure - but a slight blip from Heta with just 57.

Littler has the bullseye to force a decider but just misses... however, Heta misses a dart at double 16.

But Littler misses two darts at double 10 - and that should be it...
