  1. Lakatos (CAN) wins 400m heatpublished at 23:01 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

That looked too easy for Brent Lakatos!

The world champion made sure he blew away the rest of the field on a blistering start over 250m.

Lakatos then eases to victory, saving his energy for the final tomorrow, as he cruises over the line in 50.47 seconds, two seconds off the world record.

He might break that in tomorrow's final.

It's European champion versus world champion in the men's T53 400m heats and Britain's Mickey Bushell will want to better Brent Lakatos in Rio - this time over 400m.

Bushell is determined to make amends after losing his Paralympic 100m crown to Lakatos yesterday as he finished in sixth.

But there's also David Weir's protege Mo Jomni in this race. He won't be too far behind after he himself bagged a collection of European medals earlier this year.

Let's see who comes out on top in the rankings of these heats.

This was always the race which would be the toughest part of Dame Sarah Storey's Rio programme.

Most of her training is focussed on road racing so going from that to the minimum distance was always going to be a challenge.

Kadeena Cox was favourite for gold and she delivered in style with a new world record to follow her athletics bronze on Friday night.

It hasn't been straightforward for Cox with reclassifications in both athletics and cycling this year plus having to deal with her MS.

However, with two medals already, and the possibility of more to come, she has secured her place in the history books.

Let's hear from the new gold medallist in the women's C4-5 500m time trial track cycling event - Great Britain's Kadeena Cox.

"I can't believe it I'm so happy," Cox tells Channel 4. "I have worked so hard, my legs were tired and I was mentally exhausted from yesterday. I couldn't believe it, I'm over the moon. To be here now is amazing and I'm just so happy.

"I have only been doing it (cycling) a year-and-a-half and being on top of the world is amazing. I just have to thank God.

"I didn't expect this when two years ago I was sat in my hostel bed. I never thought I could do it. You can come back from setbacks and do amazing things."

Dame Sarah Storey, who lost her C4-5 time trial title as she finished fourth, tells Channel 4: "I'm a pursuiter - I shouldn't be winning this, it should be a sprinter winning it. You can't ask for anything better than to be beaten by two world records. Fourth is the worst place to be, but even if I'd gone as quick as I did in London I'd still have been fourth."

A huge shock in Carioca 3 as Brazilian hero and four-time Paralympic champion Antonio Tenorio is made to settle for silver in the -100kg judo, beaten by Gwanggeun Choi of Korea.

But wonderful sportsmanship from Tenorio who hoisted Choi's arms aloft in his moment of victory.

Cox had a huge task on her hands there to overtake China's Zhou Jufang but she's done it with a blistering run.

She finishes in a time of 34.598, casually breaking a world record and securing a second medal in Rio.

She's the first British athlete in 18 years to medal in two different events at the same Paralympics. Isabel Barr was the last to do it back in 1988.

It's the third evening of cycling finals and Britain could shortly have another Paralympic champion.

Kadeena Cox goes in the women's C4-5 500m time trial just over 24 hours after winning bronze on the athletics track in the T38 100m.

Victory for Cox would see her become the first Briton to win a medal in two different sports at the same Games since Isabel Barr, later Newstead, triumphed in shooting and athletics in Seoul in 1988.

From a professional's perspective Sarah is a consummate professional. She's completely focussed.

Get the start right, get on the back straight. And then accelerate around the second lap.

Also, what a fantastic ride from Lane. She comes down the back straight, rolling her shoulders, dipping her head, takes advantage of aerodynamics and gets across the line.

Sarah Storey sets a time of 37.068 seconds. Crystal Lane sets a time of 37.346 seconds
