    He admitted to missing Italian football during his "exciting experience" in England. "I'm very happy, it's all been a bit of a whirlwind" he said. I suspect Southampton might echo that last bit.

    Meanwhiel, Algerian striker Ishak Elfodil - who has been linked with both West Ham United and QPR this month - is set to leave Inter for Livorno on loan until the end of the season according to reports in Italy.
