  1. Viva la Vidapublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

One man who is definitely off is Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.

The 32-year-old is off to Milan after today's game to join Inter, and he may not be the last player to depart Old Trafford this summer.

Will Ryan Giggs stay on underneath the new manager? How about Patrice Evra? Rio Ferdinand could also be off.

"I just want the best solution for the club," said Rio this week., external

"Whatever it is I'll respect it and, after that, I'm open to offers. I'd rather wait and see what happens at United and then there'll be a decision to be made."

  2. Time to say goodbye?published at 13:05 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

The last game of the season is often the time to say goodbye around the Premier League.

For some, relegation means that they will be moving on for bigger and better things. For others, transfers abroad or to rivals from the same division await this summer. For others, it will be retirement, or not making the dreaded retained list.

But who may be saying their Premier League farewells this afternoon?

Let us know if we've missed anyone. You know where we are.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Tony Bentley, BBC Radio Derby summariser, on 5 live sports extra: "It was a perfect time to score for Burton, on the stroke of half-time. It had been a cagey game up to that point, but it was a dink over the keeper and into the net from Adam McGurk and a crucial lead to the hosts. And both teams are playing these conditions well - the wind it making it difficult."

The game is back up and running.

"Writing in his column in today's programme, City skipper Vincent Kompany says: "Everyone was happy after we beat Aston Villa on Wednesday but there were no excessive celebrations because everybody knew what a tough game it had been to win.

"Now it is all about today and our game against West Ham. It's really important not to get carried away and we all understand that. I would say it was a calm dressing room after Villa - calm and focused."

Independent journalist Sam Wallace on MOTD2 Extra

"There is a lot talk in the newspapers that Liverpool is where Adam Lallana has chosen to go, but he probably could have had a pick of clubs.

"Brendan Rodgers has shown this year he is prepared to give young players a chance and that makes them a very attractive proposition."

  16. First goal of the daypublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

We are hoping for plenty of goals today - and we've had our first. It's a lovely finish too, Burton Albion's Adam McGurk lifting the ball into the net to put Albion 1-0 up at home to Southend.

  17. Postpublished at 12:42 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown on MOTD2 Extra

"Brendan Rodgers has been tactically brilliant for Liverpool. Steven Gerrard has been played in a different position, Raheem Sterling has come in. He just needs to tweak it a bit more and Adam Lallana, what a player - the way he moves the ball is excellent. He has developed a little late but he is ready to leave Southampton for Liverpool now."

  18. Remembering the Bradford firepublished at 12:39 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

It could be a day of great celebration in the Premier League this afternoon but elsewhere it is a sombre day.

For Sunday, 11 May marks 29 years since the Bradford fire.

On Saturday, 11 May 1985, 11,076 football supporters set out to watch Bradford City play Lincoln City at Valley Parade.

Hundreds would not return home that night, and 56 would never return home again as a fire raged through the stadium.

A memorial service has been held to mark the anniversary.

  19. Dream Is Collapsingpublished at 12:36 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

'Make us dream', reads a banner on the Kop. An eleven-match winning run, in which they scored 38 goals, had Liverpool's fans not just dreaming, but whole-heartedly believing.

But a five-point lead at the top with three games remaining evaporated via defeat at home to Chelsea and a late collapse away to Palace.

A title win, that seemed impossible at the start of the season and almost inevitable just two weeks ago, now seems set to just elude the Reds.
