Joe Hart, Manchester City goalkeeper, on BBC Radio Manchester: "I feel amazing. It's been a hard season and we've come out the other end the best way possible. This has been a hard slog but we've beaten some great teams and we're really proud with what we've achieved. This is football at its best - I love the game, I love this club and I'm ready to go this summer."

  4. Manager reactionpublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 11 May 2014

Brighton manager Oscar Garcia speaking to Sky Sports: "They were much better than us and deserved the win. We have had a lot of injuries and we played the most important game of the season with four or five under-21 players, if we look at the whole picture we can be happy.

"We wanted to give everything and gamble, but it didn't pay off. They are extremely good in front of goal and we did not play very well today.

    "We have no regrets."

Former Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage on 606

"I think most of the lads liked Nigel Clough when I was there and most of the lads like Steve McClaren too. But what McClaren has done is really develop the players who are there. Players like Jake Buxton, the centre-half. Jake would be the first to admit he is not the greatest footballer in the world but he has desire and this season got supporters' player of the year.

"Buxton has epitomised Derby County, the never-say-never attitude, playing with real heart. What a chance they have got to get into the Premier League now."

Savage made 124 league appearances for Derby between 2008 and 2011.

"City fans were singing for Roberto Mancini at the cup final last year. They were singing that they didn't want Manuel Pellegrini. I think that might have changed now. What he has is man-management. Compared to Mancini he has been a revelation.

"Just look at Samir Nasri, look at the difference in Edin Dzeko. The whole camaraderie and togetherness around the squad has been so different this season, and that's been a big, big part in why City have won this title."
