"I'm looking at Dean Lyness and don't know what he is doing. He comes for the ball, misjudges the flight and it goes straight over him. There was no need to do that. He couldn't make his ground back. It was a massive mistake."

BBC Sport's Tom Garry at Wembley: "Delirious scenes in the Fleetwood end! It's a real gift of a goal and the Cod Army are less than 15 minutes away from League One. Unsurprisingly, their fans are going crazy."

Burton have been pressing and pressing but Fleetwood, out of nowhere, are gifted the lead. The Cod Army are awarded a free-kick well outside the Burton area and, with Dean Lyness well off his line, former Manchester City academy player Antoni Sarcevic sends his set-piece from the left looping over the keeper's head and into the net. Few inside Wembley saw that coming.

"Burton have been the team in the last 10 minutes who have been dominating. I cannot remember Fleetwood having an attack. The game is opening up. Zeli Ismail has come on and he will be looking for spaces."

So close by Alex MacDonald. There looks to be no danger when the Burton midfielder attempts his luck from outside the area. His effort takes a wicked deflection and only just clears the Fleetwood bar. Then Shane Cansdell-Sherriff spurns a great chance from a corner as his header fails to hit the target. Burton's tails are up.

"Someone has to take a chance or we will be playing for penalties. You can't see a goal at the moment unless we see a freeing of the shackles. One of the managers needs to say 'let's take a chance and try to win this game'."

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 26 May 2014

Is this yet another play-off final heading for extra time? The chances have dried up at both ends and Burton's first change is on the horizon. Defender Marcus Holness, who is struggling with a hamstring injury, is replaced by Zander Diamond, who has already agreed to join Northampton this summer. What a story if he can conjure up the winner.

BBC Sport's Tom Garry at Wembley: "That may well have been Albion's best chance of the game so far. For a split second, it looked like Billy Kee was going to connect with a superb volley. There was an intake of breath around the ground. But he missed the ball completely before firing over at the second attempt.

"Fleetwood, meanwhile, have gone off the boil slightly. How long will Graham Alexander wait before looking to change things up front? He has options on the bench, including target man Jon Parkin."
