Ben from Birmingham: Manchester United need a solid centre half, reviving their interest in Hummels would be ideal, Blackett is far too inexperienced for Premier League starts. Daley Blind would also help them out. Also a striker is needed, especially if Welbeck and Hernandez are on the way out, maybe Falcao could be the answer? Or could Ronaldo be set up for a sensational return? Only United fans could wish.

"Blackpool, who hit the headlines for having only eight players a fortnight before the season began, have played six, lost six."
