Cech, whose only other start this season was in the Capital One Cup against Bolton, replaces Thibaut Courtois, who is on the bench. Costa, meanwhile, misses out with a hamstring problem.

Plenty of excitement from Maribor ahead of their game against Chelsea at a sold-out Stamford Bridge tonight - they have baked a cake to mark the occasion.

Pablo Zabaleta - on his 250th City appearance - plays one of the worst passes I've seen him ever attempt, crossfield and into the CSKA midfield. Not what they need at this stage, but his team-mates rally around to win it back.
