Clyde:, external And there is why Wenger is one of the greatest managers ever and we are all just couch potatoes.
Donavan Dunn:, external Drop Ozil... Clearly a rubbish goalscorer.
Angus Craig:, external Great news for Aston Villa... We're only five games into the season and we're already a quarter of the way to guaranteed safety!
Former Portsmouth striker Steve Claridge
Final Score
"Play Mesut Ozil down the middle where he is supposed to play. There you have it. I watched him against Man City and he was lost on the left. He did not have a clue. Play him in his rightful position or do not play him at all. I am yet to see him play well wide."
Chris Bevan
BBC Sport at St James' Park
"We have just heard the first chants of "We want Pardew out" of the afternoon, but only in one corner of St James' Park, and only briefly. The Newcastle manager was expecting "mass hysteria" today but he has not gone into hiding - he has been a constant presence on the touchline in his technical area since kick-off and seems pre-occupied with what is happening on the pitch."
This is ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous. Aston Villa have collapsed like the England cricket team Down Under. A third goal in a matter of minutes, and this is terrible defending. They are so deep as Kieran Gibbs is allowed to smash in a cross/shot from the edge of the box, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is ready to meet it but not before Villa defender Aly Cissokho buries it in the back of the net.
What a minute for Arsenal! Mesut Ozil is the architect on this occasion, finding space on the left to whip the ball across and Danny Welbeck has space to fire hard and very high into the roof of the net.
Welbeck's first goal in an Arsenal shirt. Arsenal flying...
There's the zip! Mesut Ozil has come under heavy fire for his recent form but back in the number 10 position behind the striker he opens his account for the season!
Danny Welbeck makes it, a cracking through-ball into the German's stride and he takes it early, side-footing home.
Arsene Wenger wears the look of a man unsure of whether he locked the back door before setting off up the M6 this morning. His Arsenal side lack their usual zip.
Phil Neville
Former Everton captain at Villa Park for BBC Radio 5 live
"The atmosphere here at Villa Park is completely different to what it was last season. There's an upbeat buzz around the place, and they really fancy their chances today."
Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks
Final Score
"The first goal is so critical in this match. I have been slowly impressed by the way Newcastle have worked their way into the game. Do not underestimate how much pressure they are under. Against that background I have been impressed, it is very hard to do."
Former club captain Brede Hangeland left Fulham in acrimonious circumstances in the summer as Felix Magath transformed the relegated club's squad. But with Magath now gone and Kit Symons installed as caretaker manager, Crystal Palace centre-back Hangeland has taken the opportunity to return to Craven Cottage - and he's enjoying today's game against Blackburn alongside the club's fans in the Hammersmith End. Still 0-0 in that one.
Brilliant move by Swansea as they carve open the Southampton defence. Gylfi Sigurdsson's smart flick sends Wayne Routledge clear and he thumps an effort goalwards, only to see it smack against the top of the bar.
Best chance of the game so far, with the home side well on top.
QPR goalscorer Niko Kranjcar on his late free-kick: "I'm obviously delighted that it went in. Today I felt quite confident and, luckily for me, without practising much this week it went in.
"The draw was really important. We showed character and spirit. It was a massive improvement from last week (4-0 defeat by Manchester United) but we still have to improve in our game."
Newcastle have had some wonderful strikers through recent years, from Shearer to Ferdinand to Cole to Cisse to Martins to Ba.
I'm not sure Emmanuele Riviere is destined to join the list.
David Ljunggren:, external Some nice approach play from Newcastle but they're totally toothless up front. There's no suggestion they're going to score.
Leeds United, quite possibly under caretaker boss Neil Redfearn for the final time, have the lead over Huddersfield thanks to a neat strike from midfielder Rodolph Austin.
League One leaders Bristol City trail at Fleetwood after Josh Morris' strike while Port Vale, under caretaker Rob Page for the first time, lead Barnsley 1-0.
In League Two, John Coleman's return to Accrington Stanley started well with a lead at Northampton thanks to a strike from Robert Atkinson. But goal machine Marc Richards has just levelled it up.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "There's a bit of frustration because, at the end, we haven't got maximum points which we deserved. Given that we feel our home form will improve markedly, we've got to be encouraged by (our away form).
"In terms of what we produced and chances in open play, we were the better team on the day but you need to manage the game and that's what we need to learn from."
Hughes on reaction from QPR fans: "Rangers fans made their feelings known and got on with supporting their team. It wasn't a problem."
Twenty-five minutes of goalless action in the Premier League. Not good enough...
Aashish: , externalGood save or pathetic miss. Either way Arsenal dodge a bullet.
