Newcastle fans are not alone in feeling disgruntled - the locals are also revolting in Blackpool after their troubled start to the season...
Steven Caulker's goal came from QPR's second shot on target, their first having come inside the first minute.
Mark Hughes is a vision of disgust as his side come off the field for the half-time break. They took the lead, looked very strong throughout, but have conceded a terrible goal.
Damien Banda:, external Rangers back in it, right on half-time.
Stacy Phillips:, external I had a feeling this game would turn into a Battle of the Corners...
Andy Gee:, external That has to be a Peter Crouch own goal?
One for the Panel to decide, Andy.
A third glance at the replay suggests that the final touch may well have been off Peter Crouch's size 12s. Could change to an own goal.

"The goalkeeper went to chase the ball but couldn't get to it. Charlie Adam tried to clear the ball but was reckless. He seemed to swing at it and it flew into the net. It was Steven Caulker's header and we will have to see if he is credited with it. There were three players on the line protecting Asmir Begovic but Adam hade a hash of it."
QPR are reinvigorated by that goal, there's a pep in their step now. Jordon Mutch dances through a challenge before Niko Kranjcar slices a cross behind.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes slaps his thigh like a panto villain - he's not happy and it's because his side have conceded a horrible goal. A corner is pumped to the back stick, Steven Caulker heads it down into the goalmouth and Charlie Adam can only slice the clearance into his own net. Basic stuff.
The ball is in the net but Bournemouth celebrations are quickly curtailed.
Andrew Surman's excellent low strike was parried by Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and Callum Wilson neatly tucked in the rebound only to see the flag had rightly been raised against him for offside.
Another let off for the Hornets.

"The negative attitude of the supporters is affecting the players. Alan Pardew is trying to defuse the situation. But press lads have been banned, that then leads to negative press and a negative feeling among the fans, it's a vicious circle. There is no real bond between the players, the staff, the board and fans.
"I can understand Steve Bruce saying that the north east is a tough place to manage. Alan Pardew will be under scrutiny and will feel like he doesn't want to leave his house."
Football Focus
Earlier, BBC Sport's Mark Lawrenson told Football Focus Alan Pardew's position as manager of Newcastle United is "untenable" after a poor start to the season.
Lawrenson said poor home form, coupled with a breakdown in the relationship between the club and the fans, means it is "absolutely impossible" for Pardew to carry on as Newcastle boss and you can now watch the video.
We are back under way at Vicarage Road.
David Jamieson:, external I would take Mark Hughes at Newcastle in a heartbeat - passing with a purpose and the players all know their roles in the team.
Tom Miszkowski:, external QPR starting to get a foothold in the game, but Stoke looking dangerous on the break.
Femi John Atoyebi:, external Harry Redknapp and Alan Pardew are both sinking managers needing some miracles.
Victor moses is having a fine game on the left wing for Stoke. He has the beating of Mauricio Isla. He's won a corner.

"That is a super shot, a real rocket there from 35 yards. Niko Kranjcar has done so well for Harry Redknapp. At Portsmouth, and at Tottenham of course. A very experienced player, now in the heyday of his career."
Sections of the Newcastle support, and the media, have given their reasons why Alan Pardew should be removed from his position as Magpies boss - but I can think of one fat reason why he hasn't been.
Two years ago he signed an eight-year contract. EIGHT YEARS. He's signed up until 2020. The compensation required to get rid of him could be colossal.
It was possibly the most remarkable contract since Robbie Williams got an £80m record deal...
Matty Phillips is on for the stricken Joey Barton - a winger for a holding midfielder. All change to the shape then.
Lovely, lovely effort! No real danger as Niko Kranjcar receives the ball 30 yards from goal, he has a dig with the outside of his boot and bends an effort inches wide of the top corner! A sensation from the Croatian.

"Peter Crouch took it well but he should have scored. Once again QPR bereft. They are playing really poorly defensively. When Stoke break they look really haphazard."
Stoke on the break again, they are tearing up the middle of QPR with ease. Victor Moses is the legs behind the latest attack, flying up the centre and then sliding in Peter Crouch. Twenty-yard shots are not Crouch's forte, but he has a good stab at it, firing just wide.
A second goal before the break could be game up for QPR - who have Joey Barton down with an injury now to boot.
