Former Stoke man Karl Henry is the replacement for the stricken Jordon Mutch. Two injuries for Harry Redknapp this afternoon - he'll be bemoaning the lack of bodies he's got available after the game no doubt.

Gavin Harper:, external Re Jerry (13:39), Stoke came 9th last season...

Shane Long:, external Newcastle fans are a joke. Let's wave some pretty cards in protest? Get a life and support your team, they need it!

Simon Ferocious:, external Pardew is on borrowed time. David Moyes deserves another chance and would be perfect for the Magpies.

Lovely stuff from QPR winger Matty Phillips now as he hares past two men on the right and flashes a dangerous cross between goalkeeper and centre-half. Crying out for a touch!

Jordon Mutch is now down injured as QPR's midfield troubles intensify.

The game has really opened up now as Watford look to level the match.

The Hornets forced a couple of corners but were unable to forced Cherries keeper Artur Boruc into a save and were then nearly caught out when Bournemouth had three on one on the counter-attack.

What QPR or Stoke wouldn't give for a hat-trick hero of their own this afternoon. Both sides are back out at Loftus Road, can we get a second-half winner?

One to watch in League One this afternoon. If Chesterfield striker Eoin Doyle scores a third successive hat-trick at Doncaster today he'll become the eighth member of an elite list.

Liverpool striker Jack Balmer is the last player to bag a hat-trick of hat-tricks in the Football League, scoring in wins over Portsmouth, Derby (where he got four) and Arsenal back in 1946.

Doyle hit a treble in the 4-1 win over Scunthorpe last Saturday before following it up with another hat-trick in the 3-3 draw at Preston on Tuesday.

The Irishman's already up to 11 goals for the season, more than anyone else in the top four divisions, and his goals at Preston led Spireites boss Paul Cook to call him "absolutely frightening".

Right - so no mass demonstrations planned for Alan Pardew then, just a mass waving of cards.

    Chris Bevan
BBC Sport at St James' Park

"The anonymous Newcastle fan behind the SackPardew.com website has told BBC Sport there will be no protest against the Magpies manager before or after today's game against Hull but says fans are being urged to wave the 30,000 campaign posters and banners for 60 seconds in the fifth minute.

"'The aim is to get them all into the ground and the take-up so far has been absolutely fantastic,' he said. 'The protest will only be for that one minute inside the ground. We did not want to cause any traffic disruption or make the police do any hard work. We just want to put on a unified display to show Alan Pardew's position is untenable. The team and players are in desperate need of a lift and we do not believe he is the man to do it.'"

    Former Tottenham manager David Pleat
    BBC Radio 5 live

"A fair score. It's been a little fractured but QPR were very reckless in their defensive work after attacking in the first half hour. They were caught out at the back and Stoke have looked dangerous - they threw away two good chances. Rangers have come back into it and probably deserved their equaliser. It has been close but QPR now will expect to push on in the second half."

Jerry Elumeze:, external Stoke should be three or four goals up, not drawing 1-1. Shows why they are a bottom 10 team.

Oluwa Midaz:, external I guess I'm finally seeing Victor Moses I used to know at Wigan...

Chris Sainsbury:, external Stoke continue to show why they will end up mid-table, and QPR will sadly end up relegated this season. Not enough quality.

Have some of that! A howitzer from Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter gives the Cherries the lead, a simply superb left-footed strike from pushing 30 yards.

"Even though it's only four matches in to a long Premier League season, not even the most positive people connected with either club would have predicted this would be a current top-four clash.

"While the departures have been headline news, Southampton's recruitment of some astute new faces have brought a freshness to the team. But they'll need to maintain those levels to get a result at the Liberty Stadium, where Garry Monk has continued to look as though he's been in management a lot longer than he has.

"You could see in the first half-hour of the defeat at Chelsea what winning at Old Trafford and keeping back-to-back clean sheets at home had done to Swansea's confidence. Monk will now want to see a return to winning ways against one of his former clubs."

  15. Postpublished at 13:38 British Summer Time 20 September 2014

    Jonathan Pearce
BBC Match of the Day commentator at Turf Moor

"It has been an anxious start for both clubs, who are still looking for their first victory, and for Burnley especially this is one they need to win ahead of trips to West Brom and Leicester.

"Unlike Sunderland, they've shown few signs that they'll score enough to stay up. If they're still looking for an opening triumph after this run of three games, history indicates they'll go straight back down.

"Sunderland haven't won yet but they've lost just twice in their last 11 games. They should have too much for Burnley, especially if Connor Wickham can rediscover his spring form of five goals in six relegation dog-fight games."

    Guy Mowbray
BBC Match of the Day commentator at Villa Park

"Aston Villa's defence has so far conceded just one league goal this season, although it will surely be tested by an Arsenal side that must improve on a desperate showing at Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

"The Gunners managed only four efforts on goal against the Germans, with Danny Welbeck missing the best chance of all.

"Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has urged patience with his new charge, but perhaps Villa Park is the place for Welbeck to bring his England form back to the Premier League - he scored two for Manchester United there last season."

Boiling up at Blackpool, nuclear at Newcastle - fans are not impressed.

Here's what other games we are keeping an eye on today:

"The relationship between manager and chairman at Blackpool is a non-relationship when it should be the strongest. From a financial point of view Karl Oyston runs the club really well. But he should leave the football side of things alone because at the moment they are certain to be relegated."

"It will be tough to repair that relationship. Fans are not stupid. They know Karl Oyston has not spent enough money. He doesn't respect the players, or the manager, and certainly not the supporters, who are the most important thing at a football club."

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston on Football Focus: "I always knew we were going to get players in and we did, but we've paid the price at the start of this season.

"I spoke to Jose Riga and he was linked with other clubs in the first few weeks of being here. It's just part of football, sadly, but I don't regret [contacting other potential managers]. I think at the time, in the circumstances we were in, it was time to look for alternatives because it looked like we were going to make a managerial change.

"But I have always thought Jose is a good coach and he'll get the best from our players. If we can put the spats and standoffs behind us then he's absolutely the right man, but if we can't then clearly we'll have to make a change.

"Some people accuse us of running the club like we're in administration, which has a basis in truth. We're prudent. We're a Championship club with money in the bank and no debts. I think we're in good shape, whatever anyone else thinks.

"I just want to see a winning team and us move up the league."
