Will Burnley ever score again? They've had 14 attempts so far today but none of them have gone close.
Heartbreak for Swansea as Southampton finally find a goal, having been knocking on the door for the entire second half. Substitute Victor Wanyama is the man to get it, firing high into the roof of the net while under pressure from Ki Sung-yueng.
Rotherham have levelled against Charlton thanks to Luciano Becchio's first goal for the club. Gaetano Berardi has been sent off for Leeds against Huddersfield but they lead 3-0.
League One's bottom side Crewe will be staying there, they now trail MK Dons 4-1.
League Two's bottom side Carlisle are now 3-2 behind at Mansfield. John Coleman's second spell at Accrington is starting with a win. They lead 4-2 at Northampton.
Nikica Jelavic - scorer of a tremendous goal - is off and David Meyler is on for Hull. Alan Pardew needs to stay away from his head.
Into the last 10 minutes.
Tunde Akere:, external Scored one, made one, I'm done, don't expect anything else from me today, thank you. Signed M. Ozil.
Laurie McClymont:, external That Cisse finish was a throwback to the days when he was banging them in. Maybe a good sign?
Vincent Watts:, external Newcastle fans have it easy, try being a Fulham fan at the moment!
Simon in Berkshire: Pardew's main problem is that he overachieved at Newcastle too quickly, as at West Ham, but couldn't maintain it. Toon fans need to accept mid-table finishes.
David from Worcestershire: I've been watching Newcastle since 1964 but I can't even be bothered to get upset any more. Complete shambles of a club.
Anxious fan in Kent: I was never too bothered about Pardew, but now I have to say he's got to go. Shocking record and Newcastle deserve better.
Cheick Tiote shoots narrowly wide, and the whole crowd are really up for this one now. They believe in an equaliser, as Fabricio Coloccini has an effort blocked. Into the last 12 minutes...
Former Everton Phil Neville captain at Villa Park for BBC Radio 5 live
"Villa look dead in this second half. That four minute period when they conceded three has knocked the stuffing out of them completely."
Still a stalemate at Turf Moor, the Clarets have gone seven hours without a goal.
Hemant Tandon:, external I really question whether sacking Alan Pardew really solves the Newcastle problem. We need a strong core for English players.
Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks
Final Score
"An excellent strike from Papiss Cisse, but I thought the goalkeeper should have done better at his near post. It gives Newcastle a chance. The whole game has been a tense affair and the players have had to cope with that. It is very difficult for them."
Now then! Newcastle have a foothold in the game as substitute Papiss Cisse lashes home Cheick Tiote's fine pass at the near post.
He lifts his shirt to reveal a message of support - but it's not aimed at Alan Pardew, but midfielder Jonas Gutierrez. Newcastle have 15 minutes to turn this one around.
Fulham are managerless, bottom of the table, down to 10 men and now trail Blackburn 1-0. Jordan Rhodes (who else?) has scored his fourth of the season. Souleymane Doukara has made it 3-0 to Leeds against Huddersfield.
In League One, Preston now have a 2-0 lead over Crawley thanks to a Joe Garner penalty. Marc McNulty has pulled a goal back for Sheffield United at Swindon but they trail 3-1.
David Amoo has scored for the Football League's bottom side Carlisle at Mansfield where the Stags now lead 3-1. At the top end former League leaders Burton are losing 3-0 at current leaders Bury, Daniel Nardiello with his second.

"Alan Pardew cuts an isolated figure. He is there on the touchline, out on his own. The situation is fast becoming untenable for Alan I feel. There are so many other circumstance surrounding the team that it is very hard to manage. Mike Ashley looks to me like a man who has made his mind up."
Graziano Pelle is proving a thorn in the side a tiring Swansea defence as he twice goes close for Southampton.
He first draws a save out of Swans keeper Lukasz Fabianski, before then glancing another header just wide of the far post. Swansea are hanging on a bit now.
Some concern for the Saints, though, as James Ward-Prowse is taken off on a stretcher. He is replaced by Victor Wanyama, and the away side have used all three subs.
Former Everton Phil Neville captain at Villa Park for BBC Radio 5 live
"If Aston Villa have any hope of getting back into this game they need to get up and offer more support to Gabriel Agbonlahor. He is so isolated, surrounded by three Arsenal defenders."
Former Portsmouth striker Steve Claridge
Final Score
"When your luck is out, when you are down on your knees… Newcastle would be unlucky to concede two goals like those they have conceded today from now until the end of the season. A sublime bit of skill from Mohamed Diame. But that is the difference between the two sides."
The home fans have been largely supportive all day but there is a noticeable change in atmosphere with that second goal. Plenty of 'get out of our club' songs aimed at Mike Ashley.
Milo Thompson:, external So how long before FC United Of Newcastle is formed?
Joe Wedgwood:, external Only footballers truly appreciate Mesut Ozil's passing ability. Not just pick out team-mates but puts it exactly where they want it.
Bawa-Ayamga Atazona:, external Diaby back in the Arsenal team. Great news.
