Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard: "We came here to win the game and we weren't clinical enough. A goalkeeper is never pleased with his wall when you concede a goal."

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard: "We came here to win the game and we weren't clinical enough. A goalkeeper is never pleased with his wall when you concede a goal."
Frustration etched on the faces of Tottenham players as Danny Rose goes down with an injury. He can't make it back to the dressing room without assistance.

"It's been a good away day for Stoke. I actually think 2-1 at times has flattered Tottenham. They were very poor in the first half, the second half not much better, and Nacer Chadli's goal came out of nothing.
"Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross has been driving his players on all game, I don't see one voice from a white shirt."
Into the SIXTH MINUTE of added time...
Wes Brown for the winner?! At the right end this week, a steaming header which James McCarthy does well to shovel over the bar. Still we play on...

"It looked like Tim Howard wanted to touch it with his hands, it looked very shady at first, but looking at it again I don't think he used his hands at all - he just shields it. He did really well not to handle it actually.
"Over the last five minutes or so sudden Everton have lost their fluency and it is Sunderland who have looked like getting a winner. Once Connor Wickham builds up a head of speed he is very difficult to stop."
Spurs have a free-kick on the edge of the box - Harry Kane lines it up - and into the wall this week! No lucky deflection for the Spurs striker this time...
Tim Howard, what are you doing?! No need for panic but Howard falls on the ball outside the penalty area! He doesn't touch it with his arms, it sits under his chest, and he gets away with it!
Ross Legg:, external Kyle Naughton showing his true colours yet again. Absolutely clueless [see 15:14].
Anthony Ball:, external Re: Emmanuel Adebayor's footwear [see 14:54]. Hasn't he been looking for his shooting boots for about three seasons now?
John Roberts:, external Has anyone stopped to consider that all the people calling for Alan Pardew's sacking has been the catalyst for Newcastle's turnaround in form?

"It's got to be a red card, it's so cynical as well. Kyle Naughton hasn't even attempted to go for the ball - he's just kicked out. And maybe that turns the game back in Stoke's favour."
Will Buckley serves up a wonderful cross - and Steven Fletcher is on his heels and can't meet it!
Anyone finding a winner at the Stadium of Light?
That is as clear cut a red card as you will see! Spurs lose the ball in midfield, Victor Moses knocks it down the line and Kyle Naughton wipes him out. Younes Kaboul was trying to get across but he was never getting there.
Ayoze Perez almost has another goal to rubber-stamp the three points for Newcastle but Ben Foster is equal to his volley at the near post. Sharp movement from the little striker though.

"The Sunderland crowd are not happy and it's transferring to some of the players. They are playing in a scatty way at the moment and are making some poor decisions. They need to wind themselves in a little bit. Just for next 10 minutes you think: 'Don't concede another goal.'
"Considering they won on Monday night a draw would be a good result today. Jack Rodwell coming on suggests Sunderland are going to try and hold on from here."
There are still 10 minutes left at Tottenham and at Sunderland after some lengthy first-half injury time at both games. Both in the balance...
Into the last five minutes at the Hawthorns. An impressive away win in the bank?
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger makes only one change from the team which threw away a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 against Anderlecht in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Mathieu Flamini replacing the injured Mikel Arteta. Theo Walcott and Jack WIlshere are on the bench.
Swansea have a number of injury concerns. Manager Garry Monk makes three changes from the goalless draw at Everton last weekend. Centre-back Kyle Bartley and winger Marvin Emnes come in for the injured Federico Fernandez and Wayne Routledge, while suspended midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is replaced by Tom Carroll.
Swansea XI: Fabianski, Rangel, Bartley, Williams, Taylor, Carroll, Ki, Emnes, Sigurdsson, Montero, Bony.
Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Flamini, Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Sanchez, Welbeck.
