Sunderland's Seb Larsson: "We took the lead and conceded a deflected goal. I don't know how many shots we had but we need to hit the target more than we did. We know we are tough to beat but we need to be winning. Credit to West Ham, they are doing well at the moment but I thought we should have won that game."

Hull manager Steve Bruce says he would be 'hauled in front of the FA' if he voiced his true opinion on the diving incident from Gary Cahill.

West Brom goalscorer Craig Gardner: "It was a great team performance and to be fair to Villa they played well. The gaffer was brilliant at half-time and told us what to do. I'm delighted for him because he's taken a bit of flak.

"But it was a great all-round team performance. We had a game plan and stuck to it. This game could not have come at a better time for us."

Abdul Said: Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud all starting! If it works Arsene Wenger will be a wizard!

Gooner71: Looks like a big thanks to Lukas Podolski for scoring two in Europe - a seat on the bench.

Manchester City goalscorer Frank Lampard: "Those are the kind of games we need to get results, we needed to grind them out. We were not at our best but got three points.

"I've watched Leicester and seen even though they are down near the bottom, they are not short of passion. They showed that today. We were nowhere near the force we can be sometimes, but you have to show two sides to your game and I think we did that today.

On his 175th Premier League goal, which takes him fourth on the all-time list alongside Thierry Henry: "I'm very happy with it, I thought it was going to be out of my reach. Elliot Jenkin: Well that's just depressing. Can deal with losses to Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United, but Burnley isn't acceptable.

Paney: Today's game is going to be the biggest sign that Paul Lambert is losing the fans. This one he had to win.

Jay: So when do the calls for Ronald Koeman's head start?

Chelsea are 13 points clear of fifth-placed Southampton after today's results. I think we can bank on Jose Mourinho's men making it into the Champions League.

But will they end the season as champions? Manchester City keep pace - just three points behind still.

Liz Tray: Manuel Pellegrini's only managerial flaw is rushing players back too soon from injury. Sergio Aguero last season, many times. Vincent Kompany today.

Will: The rejuvenation of ageing midfielders like Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo after moving clubs should be food for thought for Steven Gerrard...

Brad Remus: Fact remains Lamps couldn't get into this Chelsea team. Salary was silly too. Had to go. Now just knock it off with the goals!

"For all Leicester's huffing and puffing Manchester City were always in their comfort zone. Leicester simply lacked quality in the final third. You cannot fault Leicester's effort and commitment, but City always carried more of a threat, without playing particularly well. It looks like being a long season for Nigel Pearson. He's got his system right but needs more quality in attack."
