There is plenty of Champions League action still to come tomorrow with Arsenal at home to Monaco and La Liga champions Atletico Madrid at Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

We will be live with our text commentary from 18:00 GMT but, before that, you can get all the reaction from tonight's action in Sportsday Live on the BBC Sport website from 08:00 GMT tomorrow.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta: "We feel like we've taken a big step tonight, but it isn't over yet."

  3. Nasri out of sortspublished at 22:26 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

    Nasri

I think it's fair to say Samir Nasri (touch map above) struggled to get into the game this evening. He only made 31 touches, the least of any of the starting outfield players for either side. Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Andres Iniesta all had over 100 for Barcelona.

"I know the object was to attack Barcelona but maybe if you'd played three on three in midfield, you can press a bit higher. I've always said 4-4-2 is a hard-working system and if you don't put a shift in, it doesn't work."

  5. Clinical Suarezpublished at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

    Luis Suarez

Pretty lethal stuff from Luis Suarez in attack for Barcelona this evening. His touch graphic above shows he only had seven touches inside the penalty area and scored twice. He also had plenty of joy down the left.

Henry Winter, of the Daily Telegraph, on the BBC 5 live Football Social: "I'm not convinced Manchester City go there [to the Nou Camp] with too much hope. They were better in the second half but I didn't think the Dzeko experiment worked and I thought Fernando was poor.

"Manchester City fans are walking out disconsolate, but look at the front line Barcelona threw at them. You have to respect Barcelona as well as highlighting City's flaws."

All four Champions league games in which Lionel Messi has completed 10+ dribbles have come against English teams - Man Utd 2x, Arsenal, and now Man City.

On Luis Suarez: "He's a proper team player. He's matured fantastically. He scored two and could have had more. At Liverpool he was on fire. He doesn't get the ball as much at Barcelona but maybe that suits him a little bit."

DavGaddu: Hilarious that pundits are praising City for their second half showing. Barca clearly had no need to play at 100% after 0-2.

Zak Harding: Credit to Man City for the effort in the second half but overall they were outclassed and I can't see then going through.

A busy evening for Lionel Messi as his touch graphic shows above. Bar his missed penalty, the Argentine was sublime.

  15. Suarez is Hart-lesspublished at 21:59 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Joe Hart will be sick of the sight of Luis Suarez.

The Barcelona striker scored twice for Uruguay against England in the World Cup and then repeated his brace against Manchester City tonight. He will fancy more goals in the Nou Camp too.

James: Stop bashing City, even as a United fan, I can't deny City were oustanding in the second half. Could have been two or three.

Sam, Manchester: Very pleased with the second-half performance. Suarez for lucky with his first goal ricochet off Kompany. Clichy didn't deserve two yellow cards they were hardly malicious tackles. Zabaleta and Demichelis was excellent today. With Yaya back in the second league, bring it on! C'mon City!

  17. Football League updatepublished at 21:57 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

All over in tonight's Football League games and it's as you were at the top of the Championship. Leaders Derby beat Charlton 2-0, while second-placed Middlesbrough were 1-0 winners over Bolton. There were also victories for third-placed Ipswich, fifth-placed Norwich and sixth-placed Watford.

At the bottom, it was also business as usual - with defeats for bottom three Millwall, Wigan - who lost 1-0 to manager Malky Mackay's former club Cardiff - and Blackpool - who were on the receiving end of a incredible 42 shots in their 4-0 loss to Brentford.

In League One, Bristol City extended their lead to five points with a 3-1 win at Doncaster. Third-placed Swindon ended Bradford's seven-game unbeaten run, with Massimo Luongo netting twice in a 2-1 win.

It was League Two that provided the upset of the night, with leaders Burton beaten 1-0 by Accrington.

  18. Player reactionpublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Barcelona goalscorer Luis Suarez, speaking to ITV: "I try every game for the team and with both goals I am happy."

Do City have a chance at 2-1? "I think so. If they lost the game 3-1 that is really difficult for them but 2-1 is a good result for them."

    Short and sweet there.

  19. Postpublished at 21:54 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

    Chris Waddle
BBC Radio 5 live at the Etihad Stadium

"Aguero and Dzeko, from the off, didn't pressurise people. Nasri got subbed and Silva didn't have the legs. If you're going to play 4-4-2, you've got to hound the ball. They didn't do that and in the first half, Barcelona just did whatever they wanted with the ball."
