Tomas Martin: Some really classy football from Schalke!

Maaz Khan: Real Madrid may as well not have a keeper in goal at this rate...

Schalke may as well throw the kitchen sink at this now! And the superb Leroy Sane has another dig from range and Iker Casillas has to make the save.

Well into the second halves now in the Football League. In the Championship we find it Reading 2-1 Brighton. The visitors had momentarily pulled level through a well-taken Chris O'Grady penalty after a foul on Emmanuel Ledesma, but then that man Jamie Mackie put the Royals back in front thanks to a great strike from the edge of the area. The stadium may only be about half full, but Mackie's got them rocking.

And the best moment of skill in the game between Coventry and Bradford, thanks to a brilliant free kick from Mark Yeates. That goal was coming - Bradford have had all the pressure and possession in this second 45 and the young Coventry side look very nervous. A goal apiece.

And it remains Yeovil 0-2 Bristol City in the evening's other League One fixture.

What a finish! And Schalke are one goal away from knocking out Real Madrid! Not many teams score four at the Bernabeu. The German side get a bit of luck as the ball ricochets into the path of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar but he does so well from there, slamming a shot from the edge of the box which gets bonus points for going in off the underside of the crossbar!

Schalke have to go for it now!

Lovely. Isco on the left, cuts inside, you know what he's going to do but you can't stop him, he reverses one just past the far corner.

Porto are having a goal of the season contest all of their own! Another belter, Vincent Aboubakar holding off a man, driving on and then tonking one into the top corner from 20 yards. If you thought Porto would be a nice draw in the last eight, think again...

Christian Fuchs with the 29th effort of the night, a low shot which Iker Casillas fields nicely. Into the final 10 minutes. Real Madrid have done enough to go through, but that's where the praise will end.

Lovely, lovely football from Schalke, for whom the two teenagers Max Meyer and Leroy Sane have really impressed. The duo put together a slick passing move which ends with Iker Casillas making a save from range. Roberto Di Matteo will be delighted with his side's showing - if not the result.

Gareth Bale wastes another crossing position from out wide. There's been much speculation that he'll leave Real in the summer - where could he end up? Don't say Old Trafford. Manchester United need many things but another flair player is not on the list.

Schalke have had 13 efforts tonight. Superb effort.

And that's another shot from Bale, rattling the palms of the Schalke keeper. He needs a goal.

Toni Kroos hits one right at Schalke keeper Timon Wellenreuther, good save from the 19-year-old.

Ari Bhugoo: Go on Schalke! Who's up for another Di Matteo miracle?

Paul Collins: Schalke only need two more goals. Possible, with this Real Madrid defence. Not over yet.

Naveed Afzal: And the Real fans attacked Mourinho for dropping Iker Casillas. He's finished, and has been for a few years.
