"Jose Mourinho under pressure? Chelsea have now got two players on hat-tricks.

"But from Swansea, some suicidal defensive displays. This performance is so unlikely Swansea. You have to wonder - has Wilfried Bony going affected them? Once they've let one in, all of a sudden they've capitulated. They've almost given up."

Kanayo Umeogu: Yet another Costa goal. Yet another Fabregas assist. How often have we said those words this season?

Pete Cash: Normal service resumed at Chelsea. Looks like a must-win game for City tomorrow.

Richard: Last night I watched Preston v Leyton Orient. Both teams looked more comfortable and assured than this Manchester United team...

    Former Wales striker John Hartson
BBC Radio 5 live at Liberty Stadium

"We knew Chelsea can do this to you if you do not come out of the traps quickly. Since the early goal Swansea have had nothing in attack. They are struggling to play the system Garry Monk has asked them to play, and it looks like it's going to be a hammering here. For the third goal, and Diego Costa's second, Federico Fernandez makes a terrible mistake - he literally passes the ball to Costa in his own 18-yard box. It's embarrassing for Swansea."

Wilfried Zaha has switched to the right wing for Crystal Palace and it is proving a smart move from Alan Pardew. The winger has already set up Dwight Gayle and another low cross caused panic in the Burnley box before Kieran Trippier cleared the danger.

Game over. This time Diego Costa turns provider, cutting the ball back for Oscar, who dinks the ball over Lukasz Fabianski in the Swansea goal. Chelsea are cruising to victory.

Did Swansea players have a rough night's kip last night? They make another terrible error in defence to give the ball straight to Diego Costa, who drives in from an angle.

Liverpool look in control at Villa Park as Philippe Coutinho has a header comfortably saved by home goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

First - well, only - big chance of the game 28 minutes in and it falls to Leicester.

Anthony Knockhaert meets Jeff Schlupp's cross first-time but his shot from 12 yards is sharply stopped by Begovic. Moments later David Nugent tries his luck from the edge of the box and misses by a whisker.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

Brilliant by QPR's Charlie Austin but equally as good from goalkeeper David de Gea. The striker picks the ball inside United's half, takes it forward, and then sees a shot from just under 30 yards parried away by the keeper. A watching England boss Roy Hodgson has to be impressed by Austin so far.

Sunderland are back level and it is a peach of a free-kick by Seb Larsson. Jan Vertonghen brings down Jermain Defoe some 25 yards from goal and Larsson curls the free-kick up and over the wall and into the far corner.

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

How did Steven Fletcher miss that? Billy Jones presents the striker with an absolute gift as he plays a low cross behind the Tottenham defence and Fletcher steams in at the far post, but the ball smacks against his feet and goes wide from all of six yards. Shocker.

  12. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

It's going from bad to worse for under-pressure Millwall manager Ian Holloway as his side are now 2-0 down at home to Ipswich, with the Hunt brothers Stephen and Noel combining again to make it 2-0 to the visitors - it's Noel's second of the game.

Norwich manager Alex Neil looks set to endear himself to the home fans on his Carrow Road debut as Gary Hooper has headed in from very close range and Kyle Lafferty has now made it 2-0 against Cardiff.

Burnley threw away a 2-0 lead in midweek in the FA Cup to lose to Spurs are they about to do it again? Wilfried Zaha's cross from the right is half cleared by Kieran Trippier but Dwight Gayle was in the right position to smash home the loose ball from inside the area. Palace right back in this.

Tottenham are pushing for a second and only a fine save by Costel Pantilimon prevents the hosts from adding to their lead as he pushes away a stinging Christian Eriksen effort.

    BBC Final Score

Ivan Gaskell, Match of the Day commentator on Final Score: "A couple of hundred Villa fans did appear in the doorways and on the staircases of the Holte End to take their seats after eight minutes were up, but it was blink and you'd miss it stuff. Was that protest a bit of a non-event, really?"

So easy for Liverpool. Jordan Henderson is in acres of space on the right channel to pull a ball down and cross for an unmarked Fabio Borini to prod home. Good finish but where were Villa's defence?

Both sides have been a little tentative in the opening exchanges but chances are starting to come now as Danny Simpson produces a superb last-minute tackle to deny Victor Moses tapping in for Stoke. Get the feeling a goal is coming soon.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway received a vote of confidence ahead of Saturday's match with promotion-chasing Ipswich - following a run of just one win in 13 games - but the Lions are behind after just five minutes at the New Den, with Noel Hunt making it 1-0 to the visiting Tractor Boys.

Meanwhile, in-form Birmingham, who have won five of their last six games in all competitions, have taken the lead against Leeds through a Paul Caddis penalty and look set to continue their climb up the league under manager Gary Rowett.

"Brilliant move from Chelsea. Fabregas plays a one-two into Costa, who gives the goalkeeper the eyes and pops it into the back of the net. Aren't those two, playing together, wonderful?"
