Adel Taarabt on for Leroy Fer for the hosts. Time for some magic?

  4. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

Nothing to see here. Chelsea know this game is won, Swansea know it is lost. All very pedestrian as the sides exchange possession in the middle of the pitch.

  5. CLOSE!published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

Villa should be level with Liverpool's defence all over the place. Christian Benteke heads the ball down but, in front of goal, Nathan Baker misses his kick and the visitors scramble clear. It is all Villa.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Nigel Pearson, having watched Stoke go ahead, tells record signing Andrej Kramaric to get his trackie off. The £9m club record signing replaces Jamie Vardy, and how the bottom-placed Foxes need him to deliver.

"Manchester United's fans in a much happier frame of mind now after Marouane Fellaini's goal, chanting the name of manager Louis van Gaal. They have shown much greater urgency in this half - not difficult it should be said."

QPR haven't crumbled after Manchester United's opener but are struggling to create anything of note. Eduardo Vargas's 30-yard volley is easy for goalkeeper David De Gea.

Nothing Ben Hamer can do about this one. Jon Walters feeds a pass to the fleet-footed Bojan just outside the area and the forward pirouettes before firing in low.

Shrewsbury Town, who have slipped off top spot and down to fourth since the start of 2015, could be the day's big winners on a day of potential upsets in League Two after Andy Mangan and James Collins fired them into a second-half 2-0 lead against a Hartlepool side with the worst away record in the league.

With in-form side Newport County still trailing 2-0 at Cambridge the Shrews could well move back into the automatic promotion places.

    Former Wales striker John Hartson
BBC Radio 5 live at Liberty Stadium

"After Swansea went 4-0 down there were some fans who got up and let their feelings be known but the majority are still making noise. In the years they have been in the Premier League the only time Swansea have been humiliated was in that first 45 minutes, so the fans won't be too cruel on them. It's a disappointing performance but you put it to one side and move on."

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

Yaya Sanogo goes close to getting his first goal for Crystal Palace - not that he knew much about it. Jason Puncheon's devilish free-kick from the left hit the on-loan Arsenal striker about six yards out and looped over Tom Heaton's bar. Having trailed 2-0, Palace look most likely to win this.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

Aston Villa are putting pressure on Liverpool and would be level but for goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. The Belgian brilliantly parries Christian Benteke's half volley away. Encouragement for the Holte End.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

The fantastically bearded Ben Hamer pulls off a cracker of a save to keep the scores level. Steven Nzonzi connects sweetly with the ball inside the area and his piledriver looks to be heading into the net until Hamer pushes it away.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2015

Aston Villa's new signing Carles Gill comes on to make his debut as forward Andreas Weimann also comes on for the home side. Tom Cleverley and Ashley Westwood.

Just spotted a Swansea fan furiously banging a drum in the stands, defiance etched all over his face. His side are giving him nothing to cheer, though, as Chelsea go for a fifth when Cesc Fabregas shoots low inside the area, but Lukasz Fabianski saves.
