Kieran in Kent: It's never nice to send a player off in a semi final, but a penalty for handball suggests it's deliberate. Isn't deliberate handball a booking? Seem to think it's in the "laws" of the game but stand to be corrected.

Jay McEveley, who conceded the penalty for handball, had already been booked.

It's all over in the night's Championship fixtures. Title hopefuls Ipswich have slipped up at Brighton, losing 3-2, while Fulham have beaten Nottingham Forest by the same scoreline at Craven Cottage.

How has Jamal Campbell-Ryce still got so much energy? He has been running all game and he sets off on a swift counter after Tottenham loses possession but can't get his cross beyond a Tottenham shirt. He is at it again moments later, though, playing a 30-yard diagonal ball for Jose Baxter, but the midfielder can't quite direct his shot on target.

There will be no FA Cup magic from Marc McNulty as the Sheffield United forward goes off, midfielder Jose Baxter is on in his place.

At the Nou Camp it's pretty much all Barcelona in terms of possession but Atletico are creating chances. Marc Ter Stegen saved from Ardu Turan before Fernando Torres could only fire into the legs of Gerard Pique. Neymar's early curled strike remains the best chance of the game so far however.

"Sheffield United seem to have settled and it does not seem to have rocked them too much. Nigel Clough will have drilled it into them that this is over two games."

Sheffield United are not looking to try anything foolish here. They have men back defending but they are containing the Spurs attack at the moment.

Tottenham make their final change as Paulinho trots on for Benjamin Stambouli. A 1-0 deficit is by no means a bad thing for Sheffield United going back to Bramall Lane, but this is going to be a long 15 minutes for the Blades.

"A nice penalty from Andros Townsend, he is a confident boy. Spurs don't deserve it but they are 1-0 up. The next five minutes are hugely important for Sheffield United now. This is a two-legged game, they need to stay concentrated. It is definitely a penalty, Jay McEveley just swings his arm at the ball. But I don't think Roberto Soldado is going to get on the end of it. McEveley just panics."

There could be a comeback on the cards at Brighton too, where Ipswich have got one back through Freddie Sears to make it 3-2. That's the former West Ham striker's first goal for the club.

At Craven Cottage, Nottingham Forest still trail Fulham 3-2. About 10 minutes remaining in those games.

"Harry Kane gets a shot off and from there it is panic stations for Sheffield United. One player misses a clearance, then another misses a clearance, and in the end the referee blew the whistle, which kind of let them off. They can settle their nerves now."

It feels like Sheffield United are now switching their focus to keeping things level as the intensity of their play has reduced. Tottenham are seeing more of the ball but are struggling to make it count, but there is a nervy moment in the Blades defence when Jay McEveley can't clear a Harry Kane shot and Roberto Soldado tries to capitalise, before the referee gives the away side a free-kick.

"Spurs need to find a different way of putting this Sheffield United team under pressure, because right now they are looking very comfortable. The away team just need to keep doing what they are doing. If there are any signs of tiredness, their players should just look up at the scoreboard - that will make them feel better."

Mauricio Pochettino does indeed make a change, in fact two. Emmanuel Adebayor goes off to a mixture of boos and some appreciative applause. He is replaced by Roberto Soldado, while Ryan Mason goes off with Mousa Dembele on in his place.
