Duncan, Kennington: Sheffield United restricted Tottenham to just two shots on target at White Hart Lane in Wednesday in a very narrow 1 0 defeat and so far Cambridge more than holding their own against Manchester United A great advertisement for lower league teams. Fans of Premier League teams who poo poo lower league fans should take note, the Premier League is not the be all and end all!

"A first-half performance like that does just not happen, it's hard work on the training ground from Cambridge United's players. Manchester United's forwards are missing support. They have wasted opportunities to get the ball in the box, and Ramadel Falcao should be going berserk in the dressing room at half-time because of the poor service he's had. No wonder Manchester United's forwards are not in the game."

Manchester United have struggled to score in the first half, but Cambridge have scored more second-half goals than any other side in League Two this season (24).

Can they get one more to make life really interesting?

"Cambridge had the best chance of the game with the set piece at the end. It was actually blocked by Josh Coulson on the line and then he missed from the rebound. They are causing Manchester United so many problems. Their organisation on set pieces has been fantastic. There are seven or eight players in the box every time, and they have been surrounding David de Gea."

"People will say I can't believe it's still 0-0, but Manchester United have not played badly. It is a difficult night and Cambridge have made it really hard. It is a great game and there is still an awful lot to play for in this second half."

    Alan Shearer
BBC Sport at the Abbey Stadium

"No-one would guess there is 76 places between these sides. Cambridge United's players can be very proud with their first 45 minutes and they have been a threat from set-pieces. Ryan Donaldson in particular down the right side has been superb and has caused Daley Blind a lot of problems."

A huge roar greets the half-time whistle. Cambridge had the best chance of the game, despite the Premier League side's possession. Can the League Two side keep that up after the break?

Radamel Falcao gets a cheap free-kick, this is dangerous. Can Manchester United pinch the lead just on half-time?

Angel Di Maria to take, that's dipping - but not enough. "What a waste of money" from the stand behind the goal...

"I'm not surprised about how this game has panned out so far. I thought this would be a difficult game for Manchester United. But I was just about to go: 'Oh no! Because it looked like there was a massive deflection (see 40 mins) and the ball was going to drift into an empty net. Fortunately for Cambridge a huge amount of sting was taken out of the ball, and the goalkeeper could collect it."

"Manchester United are finally starting to pass the ball around with a bit more confidence now. They are bossing possession now."

Angel Di Maria hits a hopeful shot which is deflected and for a moment has Chris Dunn worried - but the ball spins into his path. Phil Jones then has another clumsy moment in midfield, giving away a free-kick.

Worth remembering that Manchester United took 64 minutes to score at Yeovil last time out, before eventually winning 2-0. Cambridge are seven minutes away from the interval - not that they are hanging on to be honest.

To co-commentator John Murray: "There may be only 10 minutes left of this half but I hope you're not thinking about a replay already. As soon as Cambridge start thinking about that £1.5 million coming their way from a tie at Old Trafford then Manchester United will score, I can guarantee it."

Oh dear. Lovely ball over the top looks to have split the Cambridge defence for once but Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind get in each other's way and the chance has gone.
