"Marcos Rojo has certainly shown he's here for a battle tonight."
Three players on the deck after some 'proper' tackling. Ryan Donaldson nutmegs Daley Blind, lovely stuff, and Marcos Rojo comes over to lay down the law. It's a bit two-footed, but under control. Hard but fair, I would say. Manchester United somehow get the free-kick.
Rojo looks up for the fight, that's for sure.
Danny Cheng: Went to school with Josh Coulson and now am watching him play against world class players. Coulson to head in the winner - called it.
Christophe Talbotski: Is it me, or does the grass look a little longer in the corners...

Cambridge corner. Not taken by a centre-half - and it's close! Ryan Donaldson's delivery is on the money again and Liam Hughes slams a volley wide on the stretch. Superb start again from Cambridge. Can they turn it into a superb middle and an end?

"There is one of those horrible swirling winds tonight. Players don't mind the rain, but we've already seen the ball really pinging around and a couple of Manchester United players have been struggling to get it under control."

"Cambridge United will be very happy with this start. They've set their stall out with set-pieces and looked neat and tidy in possession. It'll be a big test for Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo at the back."
Best moment from Manchester United. Adnan Januzaj picks his head up and finds Daley Blind on the overlap, he could cross but cuts inside and his low shot is pushed behind by Chris Dunn.
Brace yourself Twitter - it's another corner taken by Phil Jones...
Richard Money could not have asked for more from his side. They have harried, looked dangerous and kept their shape when Manchester United do have the ball. They let Phil Jones have it and he puts it wastefully away.
"You're not famous anymore..." is the call.
Cambridge win a free-kick, deep, and it causes trouble again! Ryan Donaldson clips it in, Tom Elliott with the proverbial salmon-style leap, he gets above Marouane Fellaini, but heads wide. There's a panic when the ball is in the Manchester United box for sure.

"David De Gea wasn't convincing coming for that corner. It should be very interesting from set-pieces."
Cambridge make their intentions clear from the corner, they have four or five men invading David De Gea's personal space and the Spaniard flaps at it alarmingly! He gets away with that one but that could be a route to goal form the U's.
It's a cracking start from the League Two side. They have pressed and harried their celebrity visitors and Tom Elliott roughs up Marcos Rojo to win a corner. Dion Dublin would be proud.
Angel Di Maria - the British game's most expensive player at £60m - has a horrible first touch and runs out of turf. The stands - so close to the pitch - are quick to tell him what they think. And they don't rate his value for money.
Max Rex: Angel Di Maria, Ryan Donaldson, Radamel Falcao, Tom Champion. Four of the world's greatest players are at The Abbey tonight. Come on Cambridge!
Mat Smith: That is a ridiculous line-up for Manchester United against Cambridge. Louis Van Gaal has showed them massive respect by naming that team!

Good positive intent from Cambridge winger Ryan Donaldson, running at left-back Daley Blind but running out of turf. Blind has played in about seven positions for Manchester United this season already. The new Phil Neville.
It is a back four for Manchester United, all in white tonight. One ball over the top from Cambridge toward Tom Elliott and the ground roars in approval! Great noise.

"It's a different experience for a lot of these new Manchester United players, especially the foreign players, but you would expect them to deal with it."
Radamel Falcao kicks us off at the Abbey Stadium. Game on!
Everybody set? I reckon it could be a tester for Manchester United...
Alan Shearer

"Cambridge United have got a chance. It's probably a one in hundred chance, but what an opportunity for some of these players."
