"I've no idea what is going to happen in this now! Blackburn got down the left-hand side, and what a brilliant turn and shot from Chris Taylor (see 22 mins). I thought without Jordan Rhodes and Rudy Gestede Blackburn wouldn't have goals in the side. But actually - they have."

Both sides are up for this and getting stuck in at every opportunity as Lee Williamson wrestles the hulking frame of Bafetimbi Gomis to the ground. Josh King's pace then again has Blackburn's defence at sixes and sevens. There's more goals in this.

What a response! Blackburn get forward straight after Gylfi Sigurdsson's goal as Marcus Olsson hooks a cross in from the byline, Tom Cairney heads it down for Chris Taylor, who volleys in. What an FA Cup tie we have here.

"What a hit from Gylfi Sigurdsson. You will go a long way to see a better strike than that one. It does not matter how many players you have on the pitch, if you hit the ball with that sort of venom there is nothing the goalkeeper to do. It really opens the game up now. Blackburn will really have to try and make that extra man count."

  5. GOALpublished at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Brilliant, brilliant strike by Gylfi Sigurdsson! Nathan Dyer receives a throw-in and plays the ball to Sigurdsson on the edge of the Blackburn area. No defender closes him down and Sigurdsson takes full advantage, rifling an unstoppable drive into the back of the net.

Swansea have been rocked by Blackburn's start and after initially passing around the pitch with confidence, they are resorting to hopeful hits up for Bafetimbi Gomis. They do better, though, when Modou Barrow gets possession on the right, races to the edge of the area and tries to square for Gomis, but Blackburn get a foot in before he can shoot.

  7. Postpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Ewood Park

"There is no doubt it is a very contentious decision (see 6 mins) because there are referees who would not give it. But what went against Kyle Bartley is that he had two yards on the attacker and lost those for pure pace. So in the end if anybody was doing the fouling as the two came together it is the guy who was losing the race.

"If Swansea had Wilfried Bony up there he could lead the line on his own. But so far Bafetimbi Gomis has done nothing."

  8. Postpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

It is Josh King again, he uses his pace to breeze past Federico Fernandez on the right side of the area. Brilliant stuff. He then slips, not so brilliant, but the ball eventually falls to his team-mate Tom Cairney on the edge of the area, whose curled effort is well-held by Lukasz Fabianski.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

It is a tactical sub for Swansea as a result of Kyle Bartley's dismissal with midfielder Tom Carroll going off and defender Federico Fernandez replacing him. The Swans could be setting up to frustrate their hosts and hope to either steal a winner, or take this to a replay.

  10. Postpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Ewood Park

"Although others may argue against it, I think the referee has got that right. Kyle Bartley was trying to shoulder his opponent off the ball but he was not quick enough. He just leans in that little bit, 90% of the time you get away with it, so it is a harsh call, but the right one I think."

  11. CLOSE!published at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Tom Cairney drives the resulting free-kick through the wall but Lukasz Fabianski manages to parry before the ball is scrambled behind.

  12. RED CARD FOR SWANSEApublished at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

My word, what a disastrous start for Swansea. Josh King has caused the Swansea defence a few scary moments with his pace in the opening stages and Kyle Bartley can't handle it, fouling the forward and preventing him from running through on goal. Red card, and a long time with 10 men for Swansea.

  13. Postpublished at 12:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Swansea have settled well on the tough surface, passing the ball around nicely and they carve half a chance when Jonjo Shelvey plays a sweeping pass to Modou Barrow wide right, he crosses into the area for Bafetimbi Gomis but Blackburn clear.

  14. Postpublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Ewood Park

"The pitch here is rock hard, it's really cold out there. We watched Manchester United struggle to cope with those conditions against Cambridge United last night and I think similarly we will see Swansea struggling to get the ball down and play it. It will be a battle this afternoon."

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

It is 10th in the Championship versus ninth in the Premier League and we are under way.

It is far from a packed Ewood Park as the two teams emerge. Here is a reminder of the line-ups.

  17. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

    Former Wales striker John Hartson
BBC Two Wales at Ewood Park

"Gylfi Sigurdsson will play today in his preferred position which is off the striker. Last week he looked a little bit lost in midfield. But he is a fantastic player, he's a goal threat, and he can play incisive balls forward. He played so well with Wilfried Bony, but Bafetimbi Gomis is a different type of player, it will be interesting to see how they link up."

  18. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

The players have disappeared down the tunnel after their pre-match warm-ups, some hardcore dance tunes are pumping through the Ewood Park speaker system and the clouds have cleared from the sky. All set for a possible upset?

It's Saturday and that means we are once again teaming up with The Danny Baker Show on BBC Radio 5 live to plumb the depths of your footballing anecdotes. Danny's topic for discussion this week is: 'Accidentally Finding Yourself Behind The Scenes At A Major Event.'

Richard Wallis: At 1981 European Cup final in Paris we were in the Liverpool team's hotel. At 2am we went up in the lift with Bill Shankly, John Peel and the cup.

JP Sinny: Went for an interview at Old Trafford to be a steward. Got lost. Ended up in changing room and eventually in the tunnel!

David, Irthlingborough: I went to Stamford Bridge to see Chelsea v Nottingham Forest back before the Shed End was changed to seating and the pitch fully enclosed. After the game my dad and I hung around, then when everyone had left we crept back on to the pitch and acted out a corner, I scored of course! Pretty cool for a 10-year-old boy!
