It's still an end-to-end game at Derby. Jeff Hendrick is the latest man to chance his arm but the Rams midfielder fires into the stands on his left foot. There has to be goals in this one.

"Bournemouth remind me of my Reading team. They continually chip away at sides and are winning games against teams with bigger names. They've scored 65 goals already this season and that's an incredible return. Eddie Howe's side are going back to the top of the Championship table if they win today. Their opening goal was lovely, Yann Kermogant rifling one home with a little bit of curl."

Bournemouth are top of the Championship as things stand, having taken the lead against Huddersfield. Yann Kermorgant getting the goal.

It is goalless everywhere else in the division except for at Fulham, where Ipswich lead 1-0 thanks to Daryl Murphy's goal.

In League Two, Peterborough are seemingly coasting at home to Rochdale, with two goals in three minutes giving them a 2-0 advantage. Third-place MK Dons are 1-0 down at Gillingham while Colchester are a goal up at Oldham.

Not too many goals to report in League Two, with Bury 2-0 up at Cheltenham the standout scoreline at the moment.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

Both games are very watchable right now, chances galore. Mame Diouf has gone into the book for an ugly challenge in midfield, there are a few of those going in too.

You can tick 'proper cup tie' off your cliche list. This is one.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

Big chance for Blackburn! Josh King should have them level as he collects a knockdown in the box, all sorts of space, but he slams his shot against the top of the bar and away.

    A great, great chance.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

Reading work an intricate free-kick - like Argentina v England, 1998 - as Nathaniel Chalobah slides a pass around the jumping wall to the run of Simon Cox.

It's beautifully judged, but Cox takes a touch too long to get the shot away, and when he does he hits the base of the post!

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

Stoke could bury Blackburn by half-time at this rate, they are cutting through the backline with ease, this time Mame Diouf finding Marko Arnautovic on the right of the box and the Austrian slams a shot into the side-netting.

    Former England captain Jimmy Armfield
BBC Radio 5 live at Ewood Park

"I thought they'd been pushed back, Blackburn, for the past few minutes - you could sort of see that goal coming. The defenders look a bit uncertain, by that I don't just mean the back four. There's too much space between two centre-backs and the players in front of them. Consequently, Stoke are being allowed to spread ball too easily."

"Derby are playing some really slick football. They are always looking to play in Darren Bent, running in behind after some intricate passing. Reading are going to have to be careful of their defensive line. If they are caught high up, there's nobody better than Bent to run in behind."

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

Stoke close to a second, former Rovers striker Mame Biram Diouf thumps in a drive from the edge of the box which forces Simon Eastwood into a sprawling save.

Blackburn midfielder Ben Marshall did have to come off after that early knock, by the way, an Craig Conway is on.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

Almost the opener for the Rams! Jesse Lingard whips in a teasing free-kick from deep, it's one of those which is a cross but almost goes in as Richard Keogh fails to reach it on the slide.

The keeper was beaten but the bounce took the ball wide.

"Peter Crouch scores again and surprisingly it's not with his head. He scored a great header against Newcastle the other week. This time it's a corner that is whipped in, Blackburn don't deal with it and Crouch is first to react. He whacks it into the roof of the net. A great start for Stoke."

Reading just coming into the game a touch now after a slow opening 10 minutes. Their best chance has seen Alex Pearce drift a header wide from a corner.

  15. GOALpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

It would be interesting to see how Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer did tell his players to deal with Peter Crouch - because they don't make a good job of it at all.

Stoke have a corner on the right, it's not dealt with and Crouch is able to stretch out a long leg to thump home the opener off the underside of the crossbar.

That's three in three for Crouch.

On the low Ewood Park attendance and who might be the danger men here...

"I thought there'd be more fans here from Blackburn, to rally the troops, but it's a good following from Stoke. Gary Bowyer's got his eyes on two things at same time. He wants to get in the play-offs, I've heard him say that a few times, but they're not far from Wembley - there'd be a lot more Blackburn fans there than there are tonight!

"If I was Mark Hughes - who does know his job, he's proved that over and over again - he's got to watch the Blackburn forwards. They've got goals in them. They're one of best attacking sides in the Championship. They score from 20 yards, free-kicks, headers - they're always a goal threat.

"But it'll be interesting to see how Bowyer has instructed his defenders to cope with Peter Crouch and how his side deals with the crosses coming in."

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

A half-hearted penalty appeal for the home side as Josh King goes down in the area under an untidy challenge from Marc Muniesa - the former Barcelona defender gets away with it though. Not much contact in that one.

You can certainly see why Derby are doing so well in the Championship. Their passing is swift and crisp, as they pull Reading across the park. The visitors are camped deep in defence in these opening stages.

  20. Postpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2015

A lengthy stoppage at the start of the game as Blackburn midfielder Ben Marshall comes off second best in a clash with Geoff Cameron. Marshall - who once played for Stoke - needs some lengthy treatment but he's OK now.

The Stoke fans are in good voice. Delilah O'clock.
