Patrick Bamford is one of Chelsea's legion of loanees away from Stamford Bridge. Where will he be playing next season? He's proven himself in the Championship - is he due a run in the top flight?

"Definitely Boro have changed. Patrick Bamford was almost playing as a right midfielder before but he has moved right up alongside Kike. He is a central attacking player so he will be happy there."

Danny Welbeck tackles himself! A fine skill, and he wins a free-kick for it too.

Interestingly Arsenal met Middlesbrough in the FA Cup 115 years ago today. Arsenal won 2-0 then.

Saagar Kalelkar:, external It's like an overwhelming boxing match. Just got a punch in the face, before you realise what happened you get a knockout blow.

Mathew Penistone:, external Just as I was texting a friend to say how much Giroud was annoying me being lazy! BOOM.

Is it three? Nearly! Alexis Sanchez is so fast, he gets to the ball forwards before Boro keeper Tomas Mejias, a touch sends it over the keeper but Adam Clayton does well to sweep up and hook it clear.

Arsenal are FA Cup holders of course, and they may fancy their chances of retaining the trophy. Most of the big boys have fallen by the wayside so far.

Bradford goalscorer Jon Stead talking to BBC Radio 5 live on the Valley Parade pitch:

"It was a terrific start for us to get the goal and we carried on from there. We did the right things in the right areas. Every one of us has put a shift in and we had to to get the result today.

"I'm looking at that wall of the support we have and it's just amazing."

"Until one minute ago you thought "Boro are starting to look comfortable" but that man Olivier Giroud, how many times has he scored at that near post?"

  9. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

In the words of Ron Burgundy, that escalated quickly! Middlesbrough had looked comfortable but that's what the best sides can do to you. From comfort to contorted in the space of a few minutes.

He's at it again! Olivier Giroud with another cracking first-time finish, meeting an Alexis Sanchez corner at the near post to crash in a left-footed volley. In the blink of an eye Arsenal turn it on and have Middlesbrough on the rack.

An absolutely brilliant goal! What a move, Barcelona or Bayern Munch would be delighted with this one. Alexis Sanchez starts it with a cross-field run, Danny Welbeck then tees it off for Santi Cazorla. He fools everyone with a raking cross-field ball back out wide to the left, on the blindside, and Kieran Gibbs is able to pick out Olivier Giroud with a sweeping cross and the Frenchman converts from close range.

    Lovely stuff all round.

"Sunderland's players couldn't compete with the tempo that Bradford started with. But they also had the quality to go with the tempo.

"To a man Bradford were so much better. You could have had 11 men of the match today and they scored two great goals.

"You have to give credit for the way Bradford have played but Sunderland have been miserable today.

"Gus Poyet's side have shown very little. Apart from the Steven Fletcher chance when he was offside, and maybe when they could have had a penalty, they have been poor."

So far, so good for Middlesbrough as they have yet to be seriously stretched by the Arsenal. Danny Welbeck looks to work a neat one-two with Olivier Giroud but the Frenchman's ball through is overcooked.

  14. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Gus Poyet shakes the hands of his players as they leave the field but he has looked very, very unhappy for the last 75 minutes or so. Expect fireworks in his post-match interviews.

"Before Bradford faced Chelsea it was 'What if?' This afternoon it was 'Why not?'

    "Now, it's 'Who's next?'

  16. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Bradford are into the FA Cup quarter-finals! A superb win for the Bantams.

  17. Postpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

I don't think this can quite top beating Chelsea at Chelsea, but Bradford have been brilliant again today. Thoroughly, thoroughly deserved win for the League One side.

'Ole!' football from Bradford now as they run down the clock. Jon Stead gets a standing ovation as he comes off. Can he continue his scoring run in the quarters?

"I mentioned James Hanson playing as an inside-left earlier, but he is now playing as a left winger. So more of a 4-5-1 now. But that is understandable for Bradford, making it more difficult for Sunderland to break them down."
