Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez work together a neat one-two inside the area, Sanchez goes to pull the trigger but he's stopped in his tracks by a cracking tackle from Ken Omeruo.

Moments later Tomas Mejias saves from Olivier Giroud and Sanchez shoots into the side-netting. Arsenal knocking on the door...

No news to report from Arsenal. New signing Gabriel Paulista has had a tidy, if quiet, opening spell.

"At the moment the momentum is with Bradford. But I'm looking at Sunderland to do more. Do what Bradford are doing, go a little more direct. But they are just not doing it."

Bradford's brilliant season could get better yet. Ninth in League One, they are at Leyton Orient on Wednesday and a play-off push remains on the cards.

All Arsenal so far. Middlesbrough locked into a defensive shape though, break us down if you can.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

    Kevin Kilbane
At Valley Parade for BBC Radio 5 live

"An excellent reception for Billy Knott. Both sets of supporters recognise his contribution. He has been all action - got his shots away but been aware enough to get himself filtered back into position defensively."

Knott has come off to be replaced by Andy Halliday.

Connor Wickham connects with a beauty of a volley but it hits his strike partner Steve Fletcher on the back of the head. That sums it all up for Sunderland.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Arsenal free-kick, 30 yards out. An intricate build up as two men run over the ball before Santi Cazorla curls one, right into the corner but a great save from Tomas Mejias to push it away!

Mejias had a blinder at Manchester City in the last round.

A typically composed start from the Gunners, lovely one-touch passing frees Mesut Ozil but the move comes to nothing in the end. I've been impressed by Ozil since his return from injury.

  10. Postpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning!" aimed at Sunderland boss Gus Poyet. Are things that bad?

"Billy Knott has been wonderful. The high energy that he has been playing with. He had that strike earlier but then had the nous to get himself back into position. He has been the driving force today really."

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

    Under way at the Emirates.

  13. Postpublished at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Still 20 minutes away from full-time at Valley Parade. Time is on Sunderland's side, but they haven't shown enough to suggest they can mount a fightback.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Almost three! Again Jon Stead holds it up like Diego Costa, brilliant from the striker, and Billy Knott fairly smacks in a shot from the edge of the box. Well held this time by Vito Mannone.

Some fluorescent adolescents in the tunnel at the Emirates - that is a day-glo away kit from Middlesbrough. Boro unbeaten in their last 10, can they really pull off a shock at the Arsenal?

Almost kick-off time at Arsenal. Will Wojciech Szczesny be on the end of another upset?

  17. Postpublished at 15:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Gus Poyet was angry in the first half. He's nuclear right now. His backroom staff and substitutes are edging away from him...

  18. Postpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

That was a horrorshow from Adam Johnson. You can play too much football, especially on a pudding of a pitch in Bradford. Get rid!

    Kevin Kilbane
At Valley Parade for BBC Radio 5 live

"I don't know what Adam Johnson was doing. He has tracked the run initially but then tried to play it back infield. He should have just cleared it, put it out for a throw in or something. Clear the danger and regroup. And in the end he played John Stead onside because he was so deep."

The upset is well and truly on! Jon Stead has now scored in every round of the FA Cup but it's another horrible piece of play from Sunderland. Adam Johnson wants to take on the world from the right-back position.

He gets in a tangle, panics and slices a clearance to the edge of the box. James Hanson heads it down to Stead and he does the rest, lovely composure to slip the last challenge and the fire under the dive of Vito Mannone.

Bradford 90 minutes from Wembley? Why Not? Why Not indeed...?
