The opening day of today's treble bill of Premier League action was played against the backdrop of fog and mist at Burnley's Turf Moor. But it's dazzling sunshine at Upton Park where West Ham entertain Manchester United in around 90 minutes time. Will forward Diafra Sakho make his first top-flight start since 1 January for the Hammers? Will Radamel Falcao earn a recall to the Red Devils line up? Team news coming up in about half an hour.
The passing accuracy of both teams in this game so far is around the 70% mark. Neither side can sustain a spell of pressure because they keep giving the ball away.
Safe to say there has been little excitement so far, except on the Sunday dinner front (see 30 mins)...
Graham Jack Thirkhill: Now that you ask, chicken curry. I know it's a bit unusual for a Sunday dinner but hey, the match isn't shaking things up is it?
Hugh in France: I was going to have pasta, but all this talk of chip butties... how I wish I could get a pudding here in France. Wistful sigh.
Dave: This game is terrible. Think I will grab a bag of chocolate raisins.

Stoke with a free-kick in a good position and Victor Moses swings it into the box, but again the imposing head of Fabricio Coloccini is there to avert the danger.
Glenn Whelan is the third Stoke player in the book for a foul on Sammy Ameobi in his own half. The midfielder is furious about the caution, and he's probably right... seems a bit soft. Ameobi is then booked for a foul on Phil Bardsley. That is the right decision.

"You would probably say Newcastle are just edging it on the balance of play so far. They are showing a little bit more of a threat and have got pace and power in their team, when they break from midfield especially. They have created a few decent chances but Asmir Begovic has done really well in the Stoke goal."
The game is summed up by Mike Williamson who tries a trick on the wing, but ends up slicing the ball out of play. Cue laughs from John Carver and his coaching team.
This game is getting worse. What's everyone having for their Sunday dinner?!
One more fixture in the Scottish Cup today, with Rangers hosting Raith Rovers at 15:00 GMT.
The first tie of the day went decisively the way of Dundee United, who won 3-0 at Stranraer, with Chris Erskine putting them ahead before Ryan Dow found the net twice more, all of the goals coming before the break.

"Stoke were just caught napping there. This Newcastle team have got pace and power, and it was a brave save from Asmir Begovic. He had to come and dominate to dive at the feet of Moussa Sissoko, who was running at full pace."
Newcastle burst into life on the break and once again combine down the left before Remy Cabella overhits his sliderule ball in the direction of Moussa Sissoko and Asmir Begovic rushes out to makes the save. As he does minutes later from Sammy Ameobi's long-range effort.
Rob Gibson: Will Newcastle ever learn that high balls to Ayoze Perez are pointless?
Jonathan Burton: There ARE stoke fans here (see text after 23 mins) - we are just a quarter of a mile from the pitch!

It's not a classic just yet, but there's enough to keep it interesting. It's like when you invest 25 minutes in a film, you might as well give it another 65 minutes!
Massadio Haidara is pushing on down the left flank and his drilled, low cross almost creates an opening before being cleared. Meanwhile, Stephen Ireland is booked for a forward's tackle on Jack Colback. Mark Hughes is not too happy with the decision.
Rich, London: Hopeful for Stoke to get something from this game, but are there actually any fans at the game? Like playing in a graveyard at the moment!

Stoke are beginning to get a bit of joy down the right flank and Victor Moses gets to the byline and puts in a low cross which Fabricio Coloccini reads and cuts out.

"It's just all a bit scrappy. Neither team have got hold of the game yet. Stoke just have to string a few more passes together and try and grow into the game. But neither team are really doing that."
Stoke are playing some nice intricate stuff, then Phil Bardsley comes along and drives a low ball into the box and towards Jon Walters but Newcastle manage to clear.
After Newcastle head coach John Carver celebrated his first win in charge with a chip butty last week, what food have you celebrated with?
Tom, Holmes Chapel: Treated myself last night to the 'classic' combination of cream cheese and chive flavour salty crisps after Harry Kane scored in my Fantasy Football league. The snack was a victory in itself.
