England still lining up with Danny Welbeck on the left, Raheem Sterling on the right and Wayne Rooney through the middle.

And what a save that is! Rooney chips the ball to the back post, Fabian Delph watches it right on to his instep and crashes in a volley, powerfully hit, and Giedrius Arlauskis makes a cracking one-handed save!

It was mentioned by many of you in the first half but you have to wonder whether England need a back four, Michael Carrick and Fabian Delph out there. There has been precious little for them to do.

Dan J Pinchy: Rooney could well end up England's leading scorer but he will never, ever be England's best striker. Not by a country mile.

Fissuh H Kelelom: Rooney is the perfect striker.

That must be a record for the most groundsmen in one half. Like an episode of You Bet!

In England's group, Slovenia are making hard work of their clash with minnows San Marino but lead 1-0 at half-time thanks to Josip Ilicic's strike. Goals from Fabian Schar and Granit Xhaka have put Switzerland 2-0 up against Estonia.

Austria look on course to consolidate their position at the top of Group G after taking a 2-0 lead over Liechtenstein into the break in Vaduz. Martin Harnik and Marc Janko were both on target for the visitors. Moldova are currently goalless with Sweden while Russia's clash with Montenegro in Podgorica has now restarted following a delay after visiting goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was struck on the head by a flare.

Alvaro Morata has given Spain a 1-0 half-time lead over Ukraine in Group C while pool leaders Slovakia are 3-0 up against Luxembourg. In Skopje, Macedonia's clash with Belarus is all square at 1-1 at the interval.

Buxtonyoung: I don't care for the media frenzy surrounding Sterling's contract saga but he really does seem withdrawn lately

Joe: So far the player everyone wanted to replace (Danny Welbeck) has been the man of the match.

Will Allan: Don't care what anyone says, Rooney is one of, if not the best, England player of our generation

England had 10 efforts on goal in that first half, four of which were on target and another two hit the woodwork. Could be a long second half for Lithuania keeper Giedrius Arlauskis and co.

Danny Welbeck now has 14 goals for England - as many as Paul Scholes.

"England have put this to bed but it should be five or six.

"I'd like to see Harry Kane come on now, with Wayne Rooney behind him.

"Let's get some movement in the team and win this by seven or eight goals.

"No disrespect to Lithuania but they are very poor."

England heading for five wins from five in their group. This qualifying campaign looked like a walk in the park before it kicked off, and it's proving so for England.

"So comfortable for England - a sense of inevitability about every qualifier for Euro 2016 against very limited opposition. Roy Hodgson will not complain."

    Danny Mills
BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley

"England have played well in parts and the intensity's been good but they have made a couple of mistakes.

"Welbeck and Rooney have combined well. I'd like to see a bit more from Raheem Sterling. Another goal in the second half and we might start to see some changes."

When you're chasing a record, you'll claim anything. Wayne Rooney had a go at claiming England's second goal but it looks like an own goal from Lithuanian captain Tadas Kijanskas. Jordan Henderson collects a short corner, whips it in and Danny Welbeck's header hits the defender and goes in. Welbeck has been credited with the goal - for now at least.

Will in London: At home to Lithuania, England don't need to play Carrick, Delph and Henderson in midfield.

Kevin in Hornchurch: Germany. Holland etc will be worried by this as .....Not by predictable England but by Lithuania who are very good team. England continue to stagnate. Shocking.

Steve: Typical of England fans complaining, we are winning and looking comfortable let support the team for a change.

Goalless at half-time in Prague and Czech Republic are marginally the better team with Tom Carroll clearing one of the line for Gareth Southgate's side.

Danny Welbeck takes a tumble inside the penalty area but he's not getting a penalty for that. Welbeck has been very involved, while Raheem Sterling has been pretty quiet.
