Rakesh Pradan: Can't take this anymore. I'm hiding behind the sofa. Come on villa please !!!

The Dan Shewell: Villa are starting to regret missing these chances.

Robert Thompson: Charlie Austin barely mentioned tonight, perhaps why no England call-up? (Watch him score the winning goal now)

Former Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce: "If I was a betting man I wouldn't know where to put my money. I'd probably keep it in my pocket."

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 7 April 2015

Both sides make changes as Tim Sherwood brings on Joe Cole for teenager Jack Grealish, a midfielder for a midfielder. QPR's third and final change sees Sandro replaced by Michael Doughty, a 22-year-old left-sided midfielder.

Twenty minutes remaining, will there be a winner?

A couple of quick-fire goals at Bramall Lane as neighbours Sheffield United and Doncaster trade blows.

Matt Done puts the Blades in front for the first time as they look to strengthen their position in the play-off places but Kyle Bennett's second of the night swiftly makes it 2-2.

Bristol City still lead Swindon 1-0 as they look to extend their unbeaten run at the top of the table to 11 games.

And MK Dons remain 2-0 up against Scunthorpe as they look to close the gap on second-placed Preston to five points.

I reckon a point is not that great for either side but QPR will arguably be the happier of the two if the game does end that way, something that is perhaps reflected in the way they are playing at the moment. They are getting forward, but taking less risks than the hosts and have nine men behind the ball when Aston Villa attack.

I wouldn't want to call a winner with play swinging from one end to the other at breathtaking pace. Charlie Austin, outside the area, shoots low for QPR but Brad Guzan is down to smother it.

Jack Grealish pokes a ball down the left for Tom Cleverley to chase as Aston Villa look to regain their lead. Cleverley is on his way and gets close to the area before crossing across the face of goal. There's no Villa player waiting, though, and the chance is gone.

Former Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce: "Clint Hill has been a wonderful servant for QPR - and that goal could be vital to their Premier League status. Someone lost their man at the corner - possibly Leandro Bacuna.

"That is systematic of why Villa are in the bottom region of the table - because of their defensive ability. Now it is a case of which of these sides hold their nerve."

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 7 April 2015

This is anyone's game now and both players are getting stuck in. Charlie Austin goes in heavy on Carlos Sanchez and is rightly booked. Sanchez overacts though, a delayed reaction as he goes down to the ground clutching his foot.

Reading have equalised at Blackpool - the 80th goal the Seasiders have conceded this season.

And unfortunately for on-loan defender Grant Hall it's an own goal 20 seconds into the second half which makes it 1-1. To make things worse, the Tottenham man goes off injured a couple of minutes later.

Clint Hill may not be picked for his pace but the 36-year-old clearly still has plenty to offer a Premier League side and he shows why by powering in an equaliser. The visitors win a corner, which Matt Phillips swings in and Hill steers a header into the far corner. Game on!

Jack Grealish is bundled to the floor by Sandro, foul? Nothing given, much to the frustration of the home crowd. It doesn't matter though as the terrier-like Grealish regains possession soon after and has a go at goal, but his drive is held by Rob Green.

Former Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce: "I find making a double substitution so soon after half-time unusual - they had 15 minutes to do that. There have only been five minutes since the break and that isn't enough time to have an impact.

"I think they will go three at the back now, with Clint Hill tucking in to a three-man central defence. If that is the case, then I think it's the right decision."

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 7 April 2015

QPR boss Chris Ramsey does indeed decide changes are needed and midfielder Karl Henry and full-back Armand Traore come on, Mauricio Isla and Niko Kranjcar going off.

James Marshall: QPR may just have 45 mins to stay in the Premier League. They have to fight for their lives now.

Andy in Armagh: It's no coincidence that Christian Benteke's return to form has coincided with Aston Villa's season suddenly bursting into life.

David Jacobs in London: Unless Brentford sneak into the Premier League it looks as if there will be no derby game involving Chelsea next season. A bit sad that, not that I want us to do QPR a favour over the weekend!

Leandro Bacuna pings in a cross from the right but Nedum Onuoha is there to head away. He can only get it has far as Christian Benteke on the edge of the QPR area but Matt Phillips as the measure of the striker, stealing the ball and then racing away but Carlos Sanchez is across to knock the ball out of play.

Chris Ramsey is chatting away with his coaches in the QPR technical area. A change imminent? They certainly need to do something as Aston Villa have started this half as they finished the second, pressing the visitors' defence at every opportunity.

Aston Villa get the second half under way. Can QPR get back into this?

No changes for either side at the start of the second half.

Blackpool are half way to only their fifth win of the season thanks to Jamie O'Hara's early penalty against Reading which threatens to give the long-suffering home supporters something to cheer about.

The night's other game is level at 1-1 between Charlton and Fulham as Fulham look to edge away from the drop zone.
