In the first game of the day, Everton can reach the 40-point mark that would surely be enough to stay up if they win at Swansea.

  5. You can feel the rivalry - Matapublished at 10:07 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has been speaking to the BBC and given his thoughts on the derby and settling into the area after his move from Chelsea last season.

Asked about the rivalry with Manchester City, Mata said: "I can feel it in the city, when you go to restaurants or when you are in the streets there are Manchester City supporters and they are waiting for this game.

"We arrive in the game with little points difference, but they have a great team and it will be very tough.

"I've settled into the area very well and I really like it here. From the first moment the people, the club and the supporters have welcomed me. It's a relaxing lifestyle, more than in London and I really like it."

  6. 'City's players have not given up'published at 10:01 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

So, as mentioned it is the Manchester derby on Sunday and our analyst Robbie Savage has given his thoughts on what is going wrong at Manchester City at the moment.

"Without the ball, United press with a much greater intensity than City," said Savage. "With it, they will cause them plenty of problems. Those are the two reasons I think United will win on Sunday.

"A lot was made of United's defensive uncertainty earlier in the season when Van Gaal was changing formations and personnel on a weekly basis. City's backline has seen plenty of chopping and changing too, however, and you could argue that United's looks the stronger unit going into the derby.

"A lot has gone wrong for City but I would not question their players' attitude. Of course they care. They have problems in defence, midfield and attack but they have not just given up."

  7. Today's newspaperspublished at 09:55 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

The Daily Star's back page features Louis van Gaal, urging his Manchester United players to keep their cool in Sunday's derby clash with Manchester City.

The Reds manager said: "Keeping control of your emotions is always a talent of a professional football player.

"When you have a yellow card you know you cannot make a second foul which gives the second yellow card. I am always warning them, especially in these types of games, that we have to control our emotion.

"All the red cards we have had, I think it's a record in my career so many red cards - and that's not good."

  8. Today's newspaperspublished at 09:50 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

The back pages of today's newspapers focus on some of the teams that Tottenham will need to overtake to secure a Champions League place. First up is the Daily Mirror. And it's the story that keeps on going.

Mirror back pageImage source, Mirror Sport

Raheem Sterling's future at Liverpool continues to dominate the back pages, and the Mirror have led with the 20-year-old being heckled at the team's kit launch.

When Sterling was interviewed about the new shirt at Friday's event, one frustrated fan in the audience reportedly shouted: "Make sure we see you in it next year."

Last week, Sterling told the BBC that he had rejected a new £100,000-per-week contract and questioned his side's ability to win trophies.

  9. 'Kane can improve. A lot'published at 09:47 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Harry Kane may be the breakthrough player of the Premier League season - but he's got a long way to go according to Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Kane, 21, has nailed down a starting place for Tottenham this season, scored 19 Premier League goals and netted on his England debut recently.

"He's not the finished product - he can improve a lot," said the Spurs boss. "When you're 21 or 22, you believe you know it all and can't improve, but, with time and experience, you see that you can improve every day."

  10. 'It's not easy, but we need to still fight'published at 09:45 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

They are seven points off the top four. But Spurs still have seven games left. And that's enough time, says manager Mauricio Pochettino.

"We are ambitious," says Pochettino. "The gap is seven points. It's not easy, but we need to still fight and we need to try to get the most points possible to arrive or be close.

"We have seven games, 21 points to play for. It's important for supporters, at White Hart Lane, and it's important to increase our performance after the Burnley game. We need to show we want to fight to go higher on the table and it's a great opportunity."

  11. Postpublished at 09:41 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

So Arsenal may be looking at the Champions League and maybe, just maybe, the Premier League title, but yet again there are envious glances from across north London from Tottenham.

Yet again Spurs have looked like making the top four. Yet again they may just miss out. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is not giving up just yet.

  13. 'We all have dreams'published at 09:33 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Even Arsene Wenger is dreaming of glory. But he's desperately trying not to.

"The dreams are for everybody - we all have dreams at night," said Gunners boss Wenger. "But when I wake up in the morning I have to come here and make sure we give everything to win the next game.

"I have enough experience to know that I have to live with reality and reality is points and the next game.

"Chelsea have a difficult schedule, we have a difficult schedule, but what we can only do is master our own schedule. What we want is to go as high as we can until the end of the season."

  14. From no-hopers to title contenders?published at 09:28 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Some of you may have betting slips in your hands as you hope that 100-1 shot comes in at Aintree later. Well, earlier in the season talk of Arsenal winning the title may have seemed as unlikely.

Yet with just over a month of the season, and following a run of 15 wins in 17 games, some Gunners fans are dreaming. Not only of the Premier League title. But of a league and FA Cup double.

Chelsea play at the Emirates Stadium on April 26 and Arsenal also have a league game against Manchester United. It couldn't happen. Could it?

  15. How they stand - top of the Premier Leaguepublished at 09:23 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

    Top eightImage source, BBC Sport

So this is the situation at the top of the table. Arsenal are the only team in the top five playing today and they will move to within four points of leaders Chelsea if they beat Burnley in the later game, although Jose Mourinho's side will have played two matches less than the Gunners.

Tottenham and Southampton both need to win if they are to keep their Champions League hopes alive, while Swansea still have a chance of securing European football next season.

  16. 'Everybody loses points'published at 09:18 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

"Mathematically it's still open, every team who has less than 21 points than us is still in the race," said Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. "Those teams seven, eight, nine points behind are still there.

"This is the Premier League. In other countries it's difficult to believe that the top teams will lose six or seven matches in a season but here it's possible. Everybody loses matches, everybody loses points."

  17. The little horse that turned into a thoroughbredpublished at 09:16 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

It is Grand National day, the day when you pick a completely random horse and scream at the television hoping your luck is in and you win a fortune.

    HorsesImage source, Getty Images

Well, this season the Premier League is looking like a one-horse race. Last year Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said his side were 'the little horse' in the battle for the title, which was won by Manchester City.

How that 'little horse' has grown. Now, boosted by Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, the London side have transformed into thoroughbreds and have few hurdles remaining in their pursuit for English football's biggest prize.

Will Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City be also-rans or can they pip Chelsea at the post? Mourinho says the race is not over just yet.
