Bob: You can't help but smile at today's result. Spurs 0-1 Villa. Tim Sherwood will have a wry grin on his face!

Sarah Morgan: Hope the Spurs board now see the error of their ways in sacking Sherwood. Got good results and had shoddy treatment in return.

Matt Oliver: West Brom deliberately trying to tighten up the bottom of the Premier League? Looked great at home under Tony Pulis until last week!

Who thought the fight to survive was drifting a bit? I did, I have to be honest.

What a difference a few late goals makes. Leicester have been revived! A massive win at West Brom. It's now three from five again.

Aston Villa match-winner Christian Benteke: "I'm happy today because we won and I scored. I had a tough time with my injury but I'm getting back to my old level. I try to help my team, and do my best every time. I think we have to try to win every game. It's not very easy to take a point."

"With only one win and six points gathered from their last 10 games, Burnley are in the bottom three for a reason - yet when you have the 'Who's going down?' conversation at the moment, more than a few have a feeling that the Clarets won't be.

"The reasoning is understandable. That sole win was an impressive one against Manchester City; this coming fixture is Burnley's last remaining match against any of the Premier League's current top eight teams; and their spirit and style has won many a 'neutral vote'.

"Burnley manager Sean Dyche makes no secret of his own admiration for Arsene Wenger, describing him as "a legend of the game" whilst questioning those who question the Arsenal manager's position.

"The phone-in warriors are quieter now, with the Gunners having won seven games in a row - their best run of form since the 'Invincibles' season of 11 years ago. They haven't finished in the top two since the season after that, but I think they just might this time."

Hugh in France: Didn't anybody tell Leicester that they were down and out? What are they playing at? Making mugs of pundits.

Yinka: Just when you thought the relegation battle couldn't get anymore interesting.

Johnny Magrinho: Burnley can climb out of the relegation zone if they beat Arsenal... It can't possibly happen, can it?

Championship: Finally, finally Norwich break through and the Championship places shuffle again. Gary Hooper steals the points against Bolton, lifting a finish over Adam Bogdan. The Hungarian keeper was heroic today, but gets nothing for his efforts. The Canaries go back into second and after all that huffing and puffing it's as you were in the top five.

All credit to Stoke and to Marko Arnautovic in particular. He could be celebrating a hat-trick but his late, late goal earned the Potters a merited point.

"Tim Sherwood returns to White Hart Lane where Tottenham dumped him as manager and he wins. It's a huge win for Aston Villa. Christian Benteke's rich vein of form continues - his goals could steer Villa to safety and maybe an FA Cup final. Sherwood has turned Villa's season around but Tottenham's season is in danger of petering out."

It is getting ugly at White Hart Lane. Kieran Richardson is booked for a foul that has both sets of players squaring up. Tottenham have one last chance to salvage a point at White Hart Lane from the free-kick, which they waste by floating into the hands of Brad Guzan. Tim Sherwood is going to be a very happy man in a few seconds.

It had been coming! Marko Arnautovic has had two goals disallowed in the second half but now has levelled it up! A cracker too, driving at the defence from deep, beating a man for pace and then lashing in low from 15 yards, right into the corner.

    Jubilant celebrations. A real release.

"The Leicester goal puts the cat among the pigeons. It's all to play for at the bottom. It's extraordinary. Also, Villa are putting in one of the best performances I've seen this season - it will be the result of the day, because it means so much."

The Hawthorns is emptying rapidly now. The goodwill of earlier has evaporated. Boos ring out as Saido Berahino curls a free-kick into the arms of Kasper Schmeichel.
