    Would you believe it! What a turnaround at The Hawthorns! Jamie Vardy has plenty to do here, but from the moment he nicked the ball off Gareth Macauley he only had one thing in his mind. He charges to the edge of the Baggies box before firing a low shot across Boaz Myhill and in. It is the second late goal for City in successive game, it could well be another late winner. It could also be another massive step towards safety.

    The merest of consolations, it's a shame for Connor Wickham that there are hardly any Sunderland fans left in the round to see him miskick a shot into the ground and into the net. They all count, and his goal bonus will tell you that.

  13. Fabian Delph should have wrapped this up for Villa. He finds himself with time and space and just Michel Vorm to beat, but doesn't do enough with his shot and the Spurs keeper saves. That is only Villa's second shot on target, after their goal.

    "If Leicester had lost today then psychologically it might have been the end for them. They've never been totally cut loose from the rest of the group and are still in the mix if they can get a point today. Especially after Sunderland's showing.
