Mike Lee: Oh well, our Championship season was one of my favourite as a Newcastle fan

Elliott Fulton: All Newcastle do is pick up the TV money, stopping a team in the Championship with ambitions from having that spot. Pathetic.

No time to draw breath as 10-man Norwich take the lead at Rotherham through Gary Hooper.

Middlesbrough pull a goal back against Fulham at Craven Cottage through Adam Reach, but it very quickly turns sour for Boro.

George Friend is sent off for tripping Hugo Rodallega and Ross McCormack converts his second spot-kick of the game to make it 3-1 to the Cottagers.

With Millwall beating Derby 3-1, as it stands, Rotherham will drop into the relegation zone.

  3. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

QPR have the ball in the net - but no dice son! Richard Dunne bulldozes his way over the line but the whistle had already gone for a foul on Adrian by Steven Caulker. Harsh? Keepers get an easy ride but there was clear contact. Was there enough to disrupt the keeper? I'm no t sold.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:31 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Brave from Sunderland goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon who comes off his line to fling himself at the feet of Mame Diouf just as the Stoke striker pulls the trigger.

Swansea are in control. Cruise control.

They make it three as Jack Cork profits from some woeful tracking to meet Nelson Oliveira's pull-back and it's a tap in. The Newcastle fans who have come today may well be leaving early.

Hull have kept a firm lid on Yannick Bolassie so far, but the rubber-limbed Palace playmaker is starting to get into the game as we enter the final 20 minutes.

Newcastle have offered precious little since they fell behind. If anything it's Swansea who are in control.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:27 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Great stuff from Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic as he sticks out a leg to divert Billy Jones' shot wide after the Sunderland defender made a bullocking run though the heart of the home defence.

QPR keep plugging away. A goal now could be massive. Can anyone deliver?

  11. Postpublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Sunderland have got that sinking feeling.

Leicester leading against Burnley combined with Hull winning at Palace has the Black Cats down the trapdoor and into the bottom three on goal difference as it stands.

Jamie Vardy has indeed been credited with that crucial goal. The merits of following in chances you see!

Can Burnley react? This would be Leicester's fourth win in a row. Promotion form at the crucial time.

Preston's Joe Garner is the latest player to complete a hat-trick - PNE, in second, are now 3-0 up on fourth-placed Swindon.

Third-placed MK Dons are still 2-0 up at Rochdale, as are champions Bristol City at sixth-placed Chesterfield.

Fifth-placed Sheffield United, who are at Leyton Orient, are being held 0-0.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:23 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Martin Skrtel scuffs a clearance across the Liverpool goal and James Morrison almost takes advantage.

Simon Mignolet only just gets to his hanging header and the ball might still have been sneaking in at the far corner before Dejan Lovren hoofs clear.

Haaave you met Will?: Burnley. That's your sign that time's up

Ed Reynolds: Two missed penalties by relegation bound teams! If you can't score from 12 yards there's not much hope is there!

Sho: QPR and Burnley have had lady luck smile on them. But both too poor to take advantage.

Andrew from Richhill: Those are the kind of moments in a Premier League season that decide who stays up and who gets relegated. Burnley miss a penalty to take a crucial lead at one end and then concede straight away at the other. Huge moment.

Ross a Watford fan: If I was bottom 6 I'd be worried about going down to the Championship, such an unpredictable and tight league, I can't see many Premier League teams coming back up with ease!

That own goal may well be changed to a Jamie Vardy goal - the ball was not wholly across the line before Vardy stuck his knee at it.

Handball by Hull in the build-up to their goal?

"As the ball got switched to Robbie Brady, he's under a lot of pressure and the ball hits his foot and bounces up on to his hand before he crosses for the goal. It's a tough one for the officials to pick up on though."

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

A neat one-two with Mario Balotelli, prises open the West Brom defence and Jordon Ibe is suddenly bearing down on Boaz Myhill.

He hits his shot hard, but it rises just too high, thudding against the bar.
