Many happy returns?published at 10:00 British Summer Time 25 April 2015
10:00 BST 25 April 2015Our first game today may not involve a side scrapping for Premier League survival but what it does have is the return of a manager to his former club.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is back on the south coast to face Southampton for the first time since leaving the Saints in the summer. Pochettino led Southampton to their highest Premier League finish last season, ending up eighth on 56 points.
"I will expect nothing special," Pochettino said of his upcoming return. "The most important thing is that Southampton are having a great season and we are here and I am happy to be here and that is the best thing."
It has the potential to be an interesting subplot, but both teams have plenty to play for this season with the two vying for fifth place, and a Europa League spot.

Squeaky bum timepublished at 09:07 British Summer Time 25 April 2015
09:07 BST 25 April 2015Chelsea may be two wins away from wrapping up the Premier League title, but at the bottom of the table there is all to play for.
With less than a month of the season remaining, just six points separate the bottom six sides. All six are in action today with, as I hinted to in my earlier entry, the pick of the bunch being Burnley versus Leicester.
A defeat for bottom club Burnley and, depending on results elsewhere, contemplating Tuesday night trips to Huddersfield* once again could become a very real possibility.
*Disparaging comment allowed because I support Huddersfield.

The £60m fixture?published at 09:03 British Summer Time 25 April 2015
09:03 BST 25 April 2015There have probably not been too many instances of Burnley versus Leicester being classed as the game of the day when Manchester City and Liverpool are in action, but that's the case today.

With so much to lose and games fast running out, the Clarets versus the Foxes has all the makings of a real humdinger of a clash.
