  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:46 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

What an introduction! What an effort!

Liam Rosenoir, fresh off the Hull bench, rattles the crossbar with a thumping half-volley from way downtown.

Still the Tigers are not out the woods. A nervy last few minutes remain.

On Yaya Sanogo's disallowed goal: "I think it's a ridiculous decision. Yes, he puts his hand on Paul McShane's shoulder, but I've played with Paul and he's a big strong lad. It's just not a foul."

Jamie Vardy eats batteries and weetabix for breakfast. I've rarely seen such energy. Like a midlands Dirk Kuyt, he's still full of running in the final stages and has the drive to cut in from the left and test Tom Heaton from range.

Leicester on track for a massive win. They will be out of the bottom three. Sunderland in it. As it stands.

  4. Postpublished at 16:44 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Newcastle heading for a seventh straight defeat. They've been poor today, very poor. But they'll still stay up surely?

  5. Postpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Sunderland players are throwing themselves in front of shots with admirable abandon here but they are dropping deeper and deeper towards their own goal.

Seven minutes left of normal time.

    John Hartson
Former Wales striker on Final Score

"Newcastle are already on 35 points. You wonder whether the bottom three will reach 35 points. There are only five or six games to go - if there were more games I would worry about Newcastle. But they will just about be ok."

You have to feel for Matt Taylor. He's just come off and looks absolutely gutted. His penalty miss will haunt him.

Leicester have two defenders down in pain as they both clear the same ball. Brave defending.

    No-go for Sanogo.

Crystal Palace striker Yaya has leaned a little too heavily on Hull defender Paul McShane as he stretched to get his head to a deep cross.

Palace celebrations cut short, Hull's grasp on three valuable points remains intact.

Derby and Middlesbrough, both in the play-off positions, trailed 3-1 away from home but no longer.

A Chris Martin penalty for the Rams makes it 3-2 against Millwall, while Daniel Ayala scores to make it the same score between Fulham and Boro at Craven Cottage.

Ipswich are still being held 1-1 by Nottingham Forest. Wigan, 1-0 down to Wolves, will be relegated as it stands.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:41 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

    Kasper Schmeichel! What. A. Save!

Ben Mee takes the ball down on his chest and fires in a low shot, Robert Huth sticks out a size 11 and the ball is flying into his own net until the keeper bats it away with a big right hand. Instant reactions. Brilliant reactions. Game-winning reactions. Possibly...

    Technique! No.

Enner Valencia with the driving run for West Ham, clear down the right, he cuts it back and it's a great chance for Cheikhou Kouyate - but he slams it well over. Wild!

    Knee over the ball.

Philippe Coutinho takes the ball down with a velcro first touch and then hits a lovely dipping shot goalwards. Not dipping quite enough though.

Just over and time is ticking away for Liverpool. Eight minutes of normal time on the clock.

Promoted Burton lead 3-1 against Northampton, while second-placed Shrewsbury are still 1-0 up at Cheltenham and Bury lead Wimbledon by the same score.

Southend are being held by Luton, as are Wycombe by Morecambe. Stevenage are 1-0 up on Carlisle.

Plymouth still lead Tranmere 2-1, so Rovers and Cheltenham will be relegated from the Football League as it stands.

Thomas Hewitt: I still think Sunderland, Newcastle & Middlesborough could all be playing in the same league next year... The Championship!

Scott Wilson: WBA fans, are you happy with being sat in the 18-yard box with no intent on playing? You pay money to watch that!

Leroy Fer drifts a header on to the roof of the net as QPR continue to surge forwards. That disallowed goal will rankle with the Hoops fans.

Got to be kitchen sink time for Burnley now. Get them up there! Leicester have pace on the break but it's a risk you have to take if you're Sean Dyche. Lose today and it could well be curtains...

Yaya Sanogo chases a long ball forward and clatters into Hull goalkeeper Boaz Myhill a little late. More clumsy than nasty and the Palace striker escapes with a talking-to.

A little over ten minutes to go.

    Shuffle left, shuffle right.

The West Brom defence is doing some fine line-dancing on the edge of the box.

Brendan Rodgers shuffles his pack to try and change the tune. Mario Balotelli and Jordon Ibe off, Fabio Borini and Adam Lallana on.

Former Wales striker on Final Score

"Mark Warburton has already been told he'll be relieved by Brentford. They are 2-0 up and play Wigan in their final game. If they get in the play-offs and then they go up, he could pick any job he wants."
